The entire experience was very good except food servers were drop and run. Mumbled what food was and did not worry if no room on table. If process is they don’t clear that wasn’t working because items weren’t cleared before next course. That just made it squished and less enjoyable in the moment. Otherwise fabulous fun and great Selection

The biscuits and mussels were amazing. The chicken was good, but nothing really special or unusual. Service was fantastic!

Overall, I would go back to this location. However, the service was incredibly slow for a time when there were relatively few people in the restaurants. The portions were incredibly small for the price point. So, I felt like we didn't get as much value for what we paid. The drinks were strong and DELICIOUS. I would go back for the drinks alone. The mac and cheese is a PASS. No, it was not great. However, the chicken sandwich sliders were a FAVE and the ribs were phenomenal. Overall, it was a nice experience, but the service was too slow, the portions were very small, and the chairs were very uncomfortable.

Our table was tiny and in a back room near a doorway so the ambiance was lacking but other sitting areas seemed much better.

We were seated outside on the patio, and it was quite chilly. I requested to turn on the heater, but the staff informed me that they had run out of propane. It was not a pleasant experience.

Me and my wife really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was such a vibe. We traveled from New Jersey and we’ll definitely be back.

Terribly uncomfortable. We went for an anniversary dinner and asked for a booth if one was available, but instead, we were put in uncomfortable, unsturdy, uncushioned chairs against a wall. The food was great, but I would never go back. I was terribly uncomfortable, and when I asked to move to a more comfortable seat, they said it was already taken by a four top even though there were two tables that clearly could be used for two couples.

I’m not sure why they’re falling under Soul food??? There’s nothing soulful about this place??? I will say the drinks the service and ambience were the highlights of this place. I’m thinking maybe because I’ve eaten at so many places that my pallet is a little snobbish…but no…I’ve eaten at other places we that are not known on this trip and the food was absolutely delicious!! The food is average or below for the price point. If you are a real food person …this is not it…if you care more about the vibes and ambience knock yourself out. Again serve and drinks top notch.
