   I met some friends who had been to Butterjoint before and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food and beverage choices. Everything was delicious (Vinegar pie, pulled goat….amazing!) Super nice server, too!

   Great experience, really appreciate the kindness of the staff - it was my partner's 70th birthday, and they made it very enjoyable. Food was great, staff even helped sing happy birthday at the behest of a couple of perhaps annoying party members (sorry!). Will be vistiing this spot many more times. Thank you!

   We booked this restaurant based on a recommendation on Instagram. The restaurant was very lively...lots of people and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves very much. The decor was very nice and our server, Lydia, was amazing. She was very attentive to all of our requests. The hearty salad was delightful.... four of us shared the salad and there was even a little left over. The Japanese milk buns were AMAZING. I was a little disappointed in the pierogi and sausage "large plate" that we ordered. It fell short of my expectations as the pierogies were dry and the sausage was overcooked.

   The food is amazing. Service was great too, overall a perfect place for special occasions and a good meal

   From being greeted to paying the check, everyone we encountered was welcoming and friendly. AND the food was phenomenal! A gem in Oakland.

    Interesting place, liked a lot. Had double pork chops with sweet potatoes - in a curry sauce. Great presentation and superb taste. Bakery next door makes their fresh bread. Worth the trip!
