Did not live up to hype unfortunately. Burgers ok but had much better just in Edinburgh. Fries cold (they did replace them). Staff really good

Great service although check your receipt as I swapped vegan cheese for normal cheese and was charged £1 .....also if your offered extra pickles.....your being charged for them. Not much honesty with that.... however food was lovely and service was good. Staff member shouting out silly things from the kitchen. Unnecessary. Overpriced burger and chips that tastes nice but I wouldn't go back sadly

Amazing food as always, service was fab! Drinks good and value for money is brilliant. The chicken Kiev fingers definitely got smaller but still delicious.

The overall experience was very very disappointing We had Truffle chicken burger, Jalepeno relish chicken burger and kids meal comprising chicken sandwich and fries The chicken patty was burnt....or borderline burnt in all three burgers..... The truffle Mayo was salty and the Jalepeno relish was very very sweet. The buns were not fresh at all and overall the food was very awful and definitely not worth the money.. . Sorry to this but McDonalds does better crispy chicken burger

Very good burgers, really tasty and big portions. Cool wee place with good tunes, staff were lovely and seemed to enjoy working there!! I would advise to book as not that many tables. They take 10% service charge so be aware of this when you get the bill, you can opt out so thats always good, we just never noticed. We would have left a tip but maybe not £7, for a family of 3 i felt that quite steep esp with the way things are. Keep up the good work guys . 👍

Disappointed really. The beef and onion signature burger was totally different to the last one I had which was amazing. It was a thicker, perfectly round patty rather than the 2 smash patties I had previous, and what’s shown on their website. Tasted and felt shop bought too. :(

Good quality burger, the wings are to die for! A bit empty when we were there but it was and early sitting so the atmosphere was lacking a bit, will definitely be back though

First time here and a bit disappointed. Food was mediocre. Considering the cost of the burgers I expected better quality. Staff were OK, asked for our bill 3 times with 2 different staff members before it arrived.

Nice chicken burger but the fries were cold. Friendly staff but not the most efficient and a bit disorganised. Overall I’d say the food was quite expensive and they add the 10% service charge onto the bill as standard which seems to be usual now but cheeky in my opinion.

Poor service. Waitress pointed at our table rather than taking us to it. Ordered water alongside our drinks, it never came. No one checked in after food was brought over, weren’t offered any more drinks, had to go over to the bar to ask for the bill- they had the cheek to add a service charge!! Food itself was 10/10 and better than local competitors.

Food was absolutely delicious. The portion of fries was huge even for two people! The flavours are very rich and filling, the truffle burger especially! A little bit pricey but food was well worth the money.

We dined at Butta Burger on Sat 25/11 which was an over all poor and disappointing experience. Having previously dining here and being blown away many times by service and food, we were excited to return to our favourite burger restaurant in Edinburgh. We ordered a Smokey Q burger, chicken wings and Parmesan fries and overall disappointed with the food quality. The burger was underwhelming in flavour and appearance and expensively priced without any inclusion of salad or sides. The chips were cold and the chicken wings were passable with a poor and thinner coating, different to previous visit. Throughout our meal, it was difficult to get staff attention with no check backs or no questions about how we enjoyed our meal. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I know the check backs are essential to address and rectify any issues at the time. It was disappointing as this was our favourite burger stop in Edinburgh amongst a competitive market but given our experience on Saturday sadly, it is unlikely we will return.
