Utilizing our two main workhorses, a 9-foot open fire hearth and a custom-built high-capacity smoker, we patiently craft exciting food with soul, both primitive and contemporary. Butchertown Hall is an homage to the intersection of chef and owner Terry Raley's Texas Hill Country roots, and the historic Czech and German butcher shop culture that once lined the residential streets of early Germantown.

Butchertown Hall is always open, 7 days a week for dinner and weekend brunch. Join us in our glorious indoor or outdoor space! We also feature an expansive beer garden, complete with a list of specialty craft brews, superior margaritas and craft cocktails, and an extensive agave collection.

I was excited to finally go here because I have heard so much hype about the place. However, I walked away feeling very underwhelmed. The queso, corn side, and drinks were very good. But our burger and half pound of brisket were nothing special. Not bad, but not exceptional either. We also got a bad batch of broccoli. It was as if the top fell off the salt shaker when they were seasoning it. But they happily took it off the bill. The service was very good and we liked the atmosphere. If you can sit outside, that looked nice (until it gets too hot). I’ll have to come try it again because others have ranted about the food. We were not so impressed.

Food was great, as always. We did have one person in our party with a celiac allergy. In looking at the online menu in advance, it’s well laid out and clear what items are gluten free. When we arrived at the restaurant the paper menu was not marked with gluten free options. When we mentioned this to our server she seemed aloof about it and unsure how to handle. She did tell us that they recently reprinted their menu so that could be why. It was a bit disappointing to the overall experience, especially after our pre-research seemed so promising. Ultimately, our meals were great.

Food came out cold. Service was awful. 25m wait to get the check. Extremely aesthetic and well decorated restaurant which is about all I can say. Overall, not a good experience.

We really enjoyed our dining experience, our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The appetizers were great happy hour drink prices were nice. we ordered a couple of entrées and the food was not hot. I sent back my pulled pork and the waitress handled it like a pro and brought it back much hotter. However, the potato wedges and street corn were not very hot either. Kind of disappointing, but I would definitely go back. Food was very flavorful. Drinks were good. Service was great.

Apparently, the tacos are the thing to order. I don't recommend the brisket. Dry as sawdust.

The food and the service were extremely good, this place is adequate if you are a large group. In our case we were 6 persons and we had a wonderful and amazing Sunday night dinner.

What a Texas size disappointment Meal went straight down after the Queso Entrees and sides were poor executed and bbq was flavorless Way better BBQ options in Nashville
