Bustan is one of our go to restaurants in the neighborhood. Food is always fresh and delicious. Must get the taboon. All of their meat products are now glad kosher.

Delicious food! Pretty restaurant. No issues with the host but I know others have complained. Out server was great. Gave us good recommendations on what to order and we really enjoyed the evening. Not a cheap place but I’d say it’s worth it

I didn’t realize Bustan proudly stands with Israel, and I don’t support genocide. Will not be eating here again.

I’ve been there 4 times and none of these times has the note in my reservation been addressed or mentioned. I’m a concierge for 1 company but two properties totaling over 2800 rooms and have yet to send a guest here. Not a fan of the reception. Following the missed note for the fourth time, and not so appealing welcome, the table we were given was so tight it was hard to move and nearly impossible to eat at - we were given this table despite multiple tables completing their meals and exiting the restaurant within 5 minutes of us being seated. Pre-checking reservations and scanning the room would go a long way. Server was great, food was good with some ok items, the falafel was great.

This is simple: I just enjoy the place. It is friendly. Sharing food is so much fun. The staff is courteous, attentive, and warm. The food is consistently excellent.

What a fantastic restaurant—from beginning to end. As soon as I entered Bustan, I was greeted with “hellos” from several servers and the host. (I had never been to Bustan, mind you!) The host seated me immediately at a lovely two top by a large picture window. My friend joined me in a few minutes and the ordering began. Our waitress was charming and helpful. The food was amazing! (While all the food was delicious, a special shout out for a “small dish” of spicy feta which was delicious and unique.). Also, the prices were extremely reasonable—especially given the quality of the food. Finally, Bustan is a restaurant that is clearly welcoming to all ages—a real gem!

Reserved here for a quick bite before a show at the Beacon Theater. Shared the homemade bread, hummus, eggplant carpaccio, and Moroccan fish (cooked in a clay dish with a thin bread dome over the top). Everything was SO good, wish we had more time to linger over another dish. Worth mentioning, the staff was terrific too. Interacted with the Maitre d', bartender, waiter and busman, and they were all welcoming, attentive, and helpful.

The food was incredible. I will be back. However our server, unsure if she was new, did not know anything. Could not explain any dish. And couldn’t even tell us what type of vodka you carry without typing it on the toast handheld. Overall it was delicious. Thanks.

Beautiful service from the hostess to our server!!! Food was outstanding. The eggplant carpaccio and bronzino were so full of wonderful flavor. An NYC favorite of mine!

From the 700 degree roasted cabbage to the branzino in a crock pot, every single dish was superb! The waiter, Ofer, was adorable and very attentive. I love the pricing - not the rip off you're seeing in so many restaurants. Good value, great food and service. I'm definitely coming back!

The hummus is the best I have ever had! Food is outstanding! Our server was wonderful and attentive. However, the male host left a lot to be desired. A little short and rather judgy...frankly enough that while we planned on bringing friends over, unlikely to do so because why bother when there are a million other places in NYC which could be as good and without a rude host......

Yummy with a fun vibe. Great food. Hip, modern ambiance with good (but loud) music. We were on of the last patrons but given that is was only @10:45pm didn’t appreciate them putting their bagged garbage in full view. Made for a less than pleasant end to a great time.

The. Us boy was picking up our appetizer while we were still eating it. The main course came before we finished our appetizer. The waitress seemed oblivious.

Food was great service at the table was great, but for some reason host was very rude when we arrived. We were a few minutes late, but there were plenty of empty tables and I’ve been there many times before. Rather than greeting an old customer with a good to see you, he yelled at me! Such a bad way to start what turned out to be happily a nice evening

The food at Bustan is fabulous. Each dish has a unique take on traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. The staff are friendly and I never feel pushed to free up the table. Really has become my favorite UWS restaurant.
