Our restaurant offers a selection of quality meals prepared with the best produce available. Lunch is available Friday to Sunday and dinner Wednesday to Monday. On Tuesday the bistro is closed, woodfire pizza is served in the Brigadoon Bar. In March 2022 we revamped the dining space and renovated to include a new kitchen. At the same time a new Head Chef joined our team. Regulars love the new menus which change almost daily. Menu options are available for larger parties with the group menus proving very popular in the private dining room as well as the restaurant. When we finally see some sun the spacious beer garden offers other possibilities.

Situated halfway between Sydney and Canberra the Bundanoon Hotel is ideally situated for friends, family or business gatherings and with 58 rooms available there's no need to drive home after a great night.

We love Bundanoon pub, we are there a lot! The pate is so good. All meals are always amazing. Compliments to the chef's. Top notch always.

Enjoyed it all. The Trout excellent, Crab Linguini too and Figs very fresh and tasty. We often eat in The Bundanoon Hotel.

As always food excellent However service at the Bar in the rest area was again not great Instructions not on bar as to the line up food orders taken there so drink customers only waiting up to 10-15 mins not acceptable 2nd time this has happened we now go to main bar to get drinks and carry back in however main bar does not sell WINE please pass on to rest manager to address for future

I had a beautifully cooked steak, chips were perfect and the salad was fresh and delicious! Service was great and meals came in a timely manner. There was 10 of us! No one was unhappy with their meal, all enjoyed!

It’s a very pleasant venue. Food wasn’t great, store bought tough meat patties in burgers, McCain shoestring fries, schnitzel fried to a crisp. Steak was good. Should make the effort to self-produce more in the kitchen, it’s cheaper to do and tastes much better.

Superb food in a pub???? I’m very impressed with standards they produce. Side dishes and mains were equally as enjoyable.

The decor is nicely presented. Scottish. On a Wednesday night uncrowded. The burgher came with pickles etc, the schnitzel was crisp..dry. with a no option gravy. Chips were thin type ( mass produced). Staff attentive. Meal served about 15 minutes after order.

When booking we indicated it was our 40th wedding anniversary (as listed on the booking page). We mentioned we were married at the Bundanoon pub and had our reception there. This was not acknowledged in any way so why bother! The food was ok but in no way special or memorable.

I always have a really good time at Bundanoon Hotel. Food is really lovely, staff super welcoming. We had a chance to sit outside and enjoy a lovely concert on saturday night. Just the kind of pace you are looking for to have a really good evening. Thank you to the whole team :)

The food was very ordianary/awful, the service pretty bad (our order got lost until we complained after about 45 minutes) hence we were not offered desserts or coffee as the kitchen closed. The menu has not changed substantially in many months and its pretty boring.

15 of Our orders for 20 people where not sent to the kitchen & we were left more than hour & half waiting for food. When the problem was pointed out, our food orders were still put behind other people who had arrived after our group. The staff were very good but couldn’t intervene with the kitchen, thus our food took 1 & 1/2 hours to get to us. Some of our group were given refunds, & then presented with food - good customer service from the hotel’s staff.

After a long journey we were looking forward to a nice pub meal at a lovely old hotel. We had made an online reservation but on arrival we were advised that there was a power blackout and we would need to find somewhere else to eat. There were other patrons eating dinner and when we queried were told that they had already ordered before the power outage and as the restaurant uses gas their meals were able to be prepared. Whilst I do understand that having a power blackout would have been frustrating for the staff I am disappointed that: I was not phoned and advised of the issue No apology was given or meal alternative (We would've had a salad) This left us madly ringing around after 8 pm to find somewhere else which led us having to drive back into Moss Vale.

Maybe it was just an off day but my food was very disappointing. The salad was luke warm and the chicken way over cooked. The service was disinterested but not rude. There was a surcharge which I expected but it made a very unsatisfactory meal rather expensive.

I love Bundanoon Hotel - I always take my house guests to the Restaurant for the most delicious meals. The menu changes from time to time and everytime I know we are going to be treated to the best the chef can offer. Fabulous service always - the meals offered to the Garden Seated area are fabulous too. Love Bundanoon Hotel.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch with great, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. The menu was different to the usual pub menus and offered a great choice of meals. We enjoyed our ploughman's lunch, it was delicious and generous with the tastiest of fresh ingredients. My son's burger was huge and the meat juicy. It looked delicious and he said it was a good burger. The bistro is beautifully decorated with an old world charm and was a most pleasant environment. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, he was happy to chat and help. His service was wonderful and I highly recommend this pub bistro.

We ordered six share plates and some chips between 8 of us and it was perfect. The food was delicious and we had just the right amount. A great Saturday lunch.

A varied dinner menu with light to substantial options. Our choices were presented well and in a timely manner, all delicious. We were well looked after by Mark, a consummate professional.

There is a range of good pub food and a reasonable wine list. There is a large dining room and lots of tables outside, with shade. It is near the railway line so the noise of passing trains does intrude. Quite a few people had their dogs with them when eating outside

Catered for special needs eg i am lactose intolerant and get very sick, and the staff were excellent and understanding and gave me two delicious meals over two nights

Unfortunately my food never arrived. A polite query after 45 minutes was dismissed with "it's on its way", but alas, it never arrived. Other people's food looked decent, but oh, it's just not quite the same. Nice porter though.
