Bully Ranch, a restaurant located inside the Sonnenalp Hotel in Vail, is a casual dining experience that focuses on Southwestern and American food presented in a western style ambiance. The traditional fare at Bully Ranch is hearty, flavorful, and has a little bit of something for everyone.

The main staple of Bully Ranch is its selection of burgers and sandwiches, such as the 7X Colorado Wagyu burgers, the BFC - Bully Fried Chicken. The menu also offers a variety of soups and salads, as well as full entrees of ribs, and fajitas.

We had an amazing dining experience at Bully Ranch. Our server Vinny, he was excellent, very efficient, prompt, and friendly! I had the creamy tomato soup, gluten free and the Peak Burger with a gluten free bun, both excellent! My husband had the fried chicken sandwich with the truffle tots, both delicious! Ambiance in the restaurant was fun and festive. They also had a large bar area where many were seated and dining! We will definitely be returning!

Food and beer was good. Service and ambiance were excellent. You are paying higher costs for the location. Unfortunately, the OpenTable reservation was not recorded at the host desk. We know it was requested correctly because we received reminders and this request for feedback. Host still got us a table immediately.

Wonderful experience with three adults and a two year old. Staff was kind and attentive and great in helping get our kiddo’s food out first so everyone stayed happy. Look forward to our next visit.

My daughter and I split a Caesar salad and we each ordered hamburgers. The hamburgers are fabulous. Truffle tots are nice and crispy and perfectly cooked.

Great place for a casual dinner. Food and service are good and portions are generous. Burgers are delicious, and brick pressed chicken is very good. Vail prices will set you back over $60pp. Popular place with families and bar scene.

We arrived 15 minutes earlier and the host asked us to wait at the Hotel bar, we waited until 8pm and our reservation was at 7:30pm, when we went to check with the host, surprise!! She has forgotten about us. Then after we sat we order an appetizer (really good mussels) and a burger at 8pm, the appetizer came right away but the burger took another hour, it was 9pm and we were still in the restaurant waiting for a burger, we left the restaurant without having dinner…overall a really bad experience.

Chicken wings are excellent. Truffle tots were ok. The burgers are their namesake. Can’t go wrong. Ribs, pasta, pizza, all good. The mango sorbet was like eating fresh mango. Delicious. If you are craving chicken wings, come here.

Our meals consisted of the fajitas which were floating in too much oil, the ribs which had an ok sauce but were cold, the green beans which were cold and the burger which was good. Very expensive for ok, cold food.

I was excited about going here when I booked the reservation, but the food and the ambiance was just not to the level that I expected. Nothing terrible with the food, but comparable to what you can get at an Applebees. I wish the food would have been more tasty and the place would have had more character.
