BuenaVista Restaurant & Bar is a gourmet Latin American eatery located in Hell’s Kitchen NYC. The restaurant’s ambience, décor and cuisine will leave you feeling that you’ve been on a Latin American tour.

Our aim is to provide first class hospitality along with a memorable culinary experience. From start to finish, you will receive exceptional customer service, mouth-watering food, exotic cocktails and an extensive wine list. Your dining experience will encompass some of the amazing flavors from the Caribbean islands of Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and even some of the undiscovered regions of Mexico & South America.
At BuenaVista you can try "yucca” (or cassava) from Cuba, “barbacoa" (or pozole) from Mexico and Patagonian cuisine from southernmost South America. You'll be able to experience how the regional Caribbean and South American climates influence certain dishes.

We got to this restaurant and it was closed for business. I spent $45 on a cab to get there. How could I have been able to make a reservation on Open Table at a restaurant that is closed for business? I am not happy and have lost confidence in this App

Food was amazing and very fairly priced. Cozy spot in the midst of a busy NYC street. Highly recommend. Parking garage around the corner.

Totally exceeded my expectations, will surely be coming back. Was very impressed by all the dishes and cocktails. There was lots of love put into the food and the service staff was extremely accommodating! Highly recommend!

Went to Buena Vista to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the service exceeded my expectations. From the time we walked in, we felt welcomed and accepted by everyone working there. The food was amazing, and despite the small size of the tables, our table was constantly cleaned for the next course. I would 110% recommend this place and will be coming back. Amazing!!

The marketing, reviews and beautiful pictures of this place exceed reality. Food was decent but the poor ambience was overwhelmingly bad. Not a good area with heavy, persistent pot smell wafting through. Super narrow and small. Duped. We couldn’t leave fast enough.

Fantastic. The best meal I've had in NYC. Service was terrific. Food and presentation wonderful. Try the Ossobuco--so much wonderful flavor. The Guava Basil Margarita was delicious and gorgeous to look at.

Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es handelt sich um ein kleines und ruhiges Restaurant, was man nur empfehlen kann.

The four of us are foodies were looking for a great meal, and Buenavista did not disappoint, the food was amazing. Everything we ordered was excellent. We were greeted by the owner Mr. Elvis, a delightful gentleman. We strongly recommend to all.
