Our experience lacked on many different levels. We chose a restaurant we’ve never been to for our 12 year anniversary and we were disappointed. The server wasn’t knowledgeable when it came to the menu. The portions are incredibly small for the price. Managers never came by to ask how everything was. No one even acknowledged that we chose their restaurant to celebrate our special day. Not even a “happy anniversary.” We won’t be returning.

Enjoyed the elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. The space was a residence, which makes it feel like you are dining at someone’s home. The food was all homemade and tasty. Nice wine list and non alcoholic beverages offered too. Save room for dessert. They are made in house and delicious. Service was great. Will come back when visiting Milwaukee.

They brought the salads out before the appetizers. Not a good thing. Otherwise it was good. Food pretty good but not fabulous. We'd go back.

Fantastic. Tina, Tyler and Wolfgang’s service in the bar was spectacular as always. They easily make the best cocktails in Milwaukee.

Buckley's is a great place for a date night or for a business lunch/dinner. I loved the ambiance of the place. The food menu is small but rest assured, everything on it is excellent! The bartenders know what they're doing when making drinks! The only (very slight) downfall is that if you wanted a quiet, private date night, the layout makes that a little hard to accomplish. With that being said, my fiance and I went there for her birthday/date night and it wasn't an issue at all.

Too loud to have a comfortable conversation. The artichoke starter was dry and very forgetrable, great entrees and dessert, the coffee was cold. Servers seemed a bit overloaded .

This is a wonderful restaurant. We visit every time we are in Milwaukee. The food is wonderful and the portion/price ratio is outstanding for the quality. Our server Jessica was marvelous; she was friendly with a great sense of humor.

Ordered steak (medium) and it was prepared closer to medium-well, or well-done, flavored was cooked out of it or didn't exist. My guest ordered the lobster dish on special and pasta was wet, lobster was "fishy" tasting. Service was great to start but as the restaurant got busier our service lagged significantly. Table next to us we too close for comfort, didn't feel we could have a private conversation, and had to hear their entire conversation. Host could have sat us at a table that was not right on top of another but "stuck" us in the corner even though we had a reservation. Have had great experiences in the past year months but very disappointed in the latest visit.

Food was yummy, Artichoke hearts are a must. Jess was amazing as our server and had wonderful suggestions for local brunch and nightlife activities suggestions. The restaurant has a New Orleans swanky feel too it, low lighting, and kinda loud. Wide variety of wine, beer and a very extensive liquor list. Highly recommend

Cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts all so good. This is one of my favorite places in Milwaukee for any type of occasion, even if you're just grabbing a cocktail before a Bucks game.

Wait staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had three appetizers that were great and the main dishes of steak,scallops and chicken were wonderful. The restaurant was clean and very well appointed. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable.

We had a great experience at Buckley’s! We ordered the spicy vodka sauce pasta and the Buckley’s burger. Both were fantastic! For dessert, we tried the carrot cake which was a great finish to the meal. The service was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect for our date night.

The service and food were outstanding as usual! Although I have been frequenting the restaurant since it first open, the waitress gave us a history and was very diligent in explaining the menu. I brought someone who had never been there, and they very satisfied with the service and the menu!

Excellent, fresh food. Loved the rainbow chard salad and fresh sourdough. Desserts were also amazing.

Lovely atmosphere. Recommend asking if there are any specials that are not on the written menu. Went on a Friday, and no one mentioned they had fish fry. Wasn't on the menu and waitress did not mention.

Hands down, my favorite place to dine in Milwaukee! The cocktails are wonderful, the entrees are superb, especially the salmon, and the desserts are homemade and fabulous! Excellent service and reasonable prices, too!

We went to celebrate our anniversary. We received an enchanting dining experience. The host staff was warm and welcoming. Our table was ready when we arrived. Tina introduced herself and asked for our cocktail order. My wife enjoyed her Sauvignon Blanc and they made me a great Manhattan. We loved the Roasted Brussels Sprouts; Scallops and the Vegan Smoked Sweet Potato. The portions were generous and the food delicious! Although we passed on dessert, the Carrot Cake looked amazing. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great evening!

We hadn't been to Buckley's in years, and were really delighted by our experience there. The service was excellent - both our waiter and the bartender went above and beyond to engage with us, offer recommendations and simply be courteous and kind. The food was also excellent.

Buckley's never disappoints! Hubby had the pasta, and I had the burger (best burger in town). We started with the roasted brussels sprouts (AMAZING) - very cool combo of olives and almonds added for flair. Drinks are always terrific - he had "old and in the way" craft cocktail (yes, it's really called that) and I had a new wine on the list Grenacha. Sara our server was terrific. Always love Buckleys!

the waiter and staff were super friendly and helpful! felt taken care of the whole experience. very nice to see a family owned place do so well. i love the overall aesthetic of the interior as well. was very clean as well.

The service was horrendous. Dropping entrees while we were still eating appetizers. Never cleared plates. They were stacked on the table, and not just ours. Salmon cooked thru, server never checked back. Nice space, but definitely won’t be back.

We enjoyed Buckley's for a belated Valentines Day celebration dinner. The appetizers were wonderful, but the entree pasta was a bit bland. However, we enjoyed it all with excellent wine from the bargain bin and a delicious slice of cheesecake and port for dessert. We thought Buckley's offered incredible value, pleasing ambiance (though a bit loud from a rowdy table, but they were having a fun time!), and adventurous offerings for food and wine! We definitely recommend!

Our waiter was very good. Our drinks (Bourbon Sour) was great. My dinner did not meet my expectations. I ordered Monday Meatloaf and part of it was burnt and dried out, the potatoes and beans were good.
