I wanted to celebrate my birthday at Buca, fortunately they are open daily (my birthday was on a Monday, many local places are not open early in the week). It never disappoints and didn’t last night. First we split the grilled romaine salad, excellent. My husband and I each had one of the specials, cod and halibut and they were delicious. I was desperate for a piece of a really dark chocolate cake, and they had it on the dessert menu, Chocolate Italian Wedding Cake! It made my day and was excellent. Love it there!!!

Our second time dining there and it didn't disappoint! One of, if not, the best Italian food on cape cod. The service is exemplary.

I have wanted to go for some time and heard it was delicious so decided to make a reservation beforehand and used open table. The waiter was wonderful!

Excellent choice for celebration of special occasions or a splurge meal! Romantic, warm ambience. Very attentive service. Varied menu. Food was prepared with excellence!!! Appetizers, main course, dessert- all outstanding!! Cannot wait to return!!!!

The food and service were exceptional. I had muscles arrabiista and a grilled veal chop….the best I’ve had on the Cape. Other dishes at the table were salads, Cod and steak…raves from everyone.

One of the Cape’s best restaurants. Service was good, food was well prepared and presented. The wine list was extensive with a nice selection of vintages. A definite return-to eatery. Two items of note that would have made the experience better, sharper knives for cutting veal and secondly the host informed us that he had a reservation for the table we reserved in 90 minutes. It seemed like a nudge to a timed dinner.

The atmosphere is cozy, warm and inviting. The food was was delicious and presentation was lovely. Our server, Matt, was professional and attentive. Overall great dining experience.

Excellent food. We got spaghetti and meatball and pork chop. The meatball was very good. The spaghetti tasted homemade. Never tasted such a tender pork chop. My husband and I were enjoying our 46th wedding anniversary. The ambiance was perfect. We were staying on the Cape from R.I. We have many authentic Italian eateries on Federal Hill in Providence. Buca was right up there or beyond as far as food quality.

The food was so delicious! We shared the bruschetta with lobster meat which was a special. So yummy. I had the main course special which was grilled cod wrapped in prosciutto with carmalized onions, tomatoes and white beans. Just finished it for lunch today. My husband had the salsiccia & gamberetti piccante. Everything was delicious and enough for leftovers.

The cuisine is delicious, but we return and return because Buca's has to be about the cosiest and most romantic restaurant anywhere on the Cape. Omari was the kindest, most efficient waiter we have had in the last half year. Bring a compact car if you have one -- the parking lot is constrained.

Not a typical night at Buca’s but it has been a while since we were in. Very slow tonight and restaurant not full. My wife’s chicken piccata was a boneless chicken breast put on spaghetti usually piccata served with chicken cutlets. Like chef did not have time to make cutlets. Similar for my chicken parmigiana. Full chicken breast with spaghetti. Very little tomato sauce. From a value perspective, very high priced.

Quality is consistently excellent, with a very good menu and value is excellent. Always one of our favorite restaurants! Martin, the owner and host is very accommodating and pitches in to help staff when the restaurant is busy!!
