I took my kids here bc they indulge me in my 90s chain restaurants nostalgia. When we sat down at Buca di Beppo, our bench seating was wet and smelled like a cafeteria. There was no one else in the restaurant so we moved tables, to one with chairs. The room they put us in was “humid”, so there was dew all over the table, menus, seats - everything - and it smelled like mildew. We obnoxiously changed tables one more time and just committed to be sticky-stuck to those. The place is so rundown and they spray everything with nose-burning disinfectant. Everyone working there was kind, the food was good. But dining with two younger kids…it was an expensive meal with SO many leftovers we didn’t really want. Could’ve gone anywhere for the price. It felt like a jersey Italian home, but like, someone’s grandpa built a faux Buca in a basement and forgot to turn the music on, and you had to find your way out like an escape room. An experience for sure!

Made reservations and was seated fairly quickly, but out in a small room with another party of 17 (there were 4 adults with us) . Waiter didn’t come for 20 minutes and when he came to offer water another 15 minutes went by without service. We got up to ask a manager if we can move rooms and waiters. Next waiter was good and efficient. Other room was significantly less noisy. Had we not complained it would have been 1 star, new waiter redeemed the experience but still left feeling like it wasn’t a positive experience.

We visited for Mother's Day. The food was good, and it is all done family style. Our server could had done better job explaining the portion sizes because you have choice of small or large. We would visit again when in Austin.

Shawn and Brittney have us excellent service. The food was delicious and the packaged all of our leftovers beautifully. Will come back for sure!

We like the vibe and our waiter is very friendly and fun. Food is extremely big portion as they claimed to be family styled, which creates some problem when your party is small. Food tastes better than most chain Italian food. We will come back when we are hungry.

We didn’t need a reservation they were dead. The food was terrible. We eat there often. However, the eggplant was raw and bitter and disgusting. They didn’t prepare tea

Lasagna was very dry and not much red sauce. Personally don't plan to order that again. The Chicken Carbonara was delicious, not much chicken and the peas were not fully cooked. Our waiter was good and entertaining but found a little too much flirtatious. No impressed when we are all married at the table. Found it disrespectful.

We had a reservation for 8 on Valentine's 2024. We expected some hiccups since it is such a busy holiday. Our server was attentive but many parts of our meal were too long to receive. Our drinks took at least 30 minutes to come from the bar. We would have loved if our server had kept us informed, but she simply just said she was still waiting. One of the meals was incorrect and there did not seem to be any expedited service to get it corrected. The meal in error came out after the entire table was done with their meals. Finally, only 1 of the 2 desserts were received. The food was delicious but the service left a lot to be desired. I would come back again with just a small party to see if things were better.
