BRQ is equipped to cater events big and small. We have multiple smokers, grills, fryers, creating an onsite display. We can box each individual meal, drop off, setup for receptions, parties, and more. We have catering vans with trailers and all of the necessary equipment, including licensing, insurance, etc. We cater to local offices, businesses, schools, hospitals, athletic facilities, and more. If needed, we can personalize a menu to fit your needs and budget.

We had dinner there with three grandsons ages 17 to 22. They liked the many choices on the menu. We all enjoyed our food and had some to take home. The baby back ribs were delicious. The waitress was friendly and did a great job. We never felt rushed and spent well over an hour there. The noise level was low and we could enjoy our conversations. The chocolate cake went over real well and was especially enjoyed by the middle grandson who is graduating from University High next weekend.

Our crab cakes and Shrimp pasta excellent, 2nd time having the PrimRib Sandwich which was just as good as the first time… everything was wonderful.. just a weebit chilly in the restaurant… no problem, I always bring a sweater!

For a nice establishment, the bbq is on point. I had a three meat plate. The ribs weee delish. Free birthday carrot cake simply puts this place above the rest. Thing had to have weighed close to 10 pounds.

I ordered a half slab of ribs and they were very tough and dry. I actually had a difficult time cutting them apart with the table knife provided. Normally, well cooked ribs are moist and fall off of the bone but these were just the opposite. Very disappointing. My Wife ordered the pulled pork and said that it was not very tasty and was not appealing at all to the eye. Eye appeal is important in food service. Additionally the server was not very attentive. Over all we were disappointed and would think twice before going back. I will say we had been there several months earlier and were happy with the food but we had sandwiches.

Some of our food was over cooked. So not exactly the best experience. Our server was very quick to ask a question and then she would bolt off. There was a few times I did not get to ask her what I wanted to ask her. Prices are average to high, so you can imagine that if you pay more than you would like pretty good quality and service.

My wife and I like the atmosphere at BRQ, but it’s fairly expensive for a barbecue restaurant. I had the pastrami grilled cheese on this visit, which is similar to a Reuben. It was a very greasy sandwich. I wouldn’t order that again. Overall it was pretty good and our server was excellent.

The selection and quality of food are tops in Baton Rouge. I love the brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
