We pay tribute to the rugged individualism of Pensacola’s unique historic cultural significance, specifically its Spanish influence. Real and super-rustic, the kitchen presents Old World cookery at its roots, with all the layers peeled back. Brother Fox utilizes a live-fire approach to cooking almost everything that we serve, from coal-roasted oysters to Carne Asada for two, served with hot tortillas. Our beautiful outdoor seating sets the stage for a casual meet up with friends for a glass of wine from regions near and far, carafes of Bathtub Gin or Sangrias from the bar. Inside, the cuisine and casually elegant design are the embodiment of a “neighborhood” spot that caters to visitors and residents alike, for special occasions, celebrations, and some of the finest wood-fired cuisine in Pensacola. Imagine food with soul, both exciting and traditional, in a breezy setting, right in the heart of Old East Hill.

Limited options for guests on a plant-based diet. Several items on menu unavailable. Food was loaded with sodium. Spent $200 for 4 guests and have had much better tasting food and options for less. Waitress was lovely and drink was decent.

We love this restaurant, but there was a table tonight with a bunch of people with their children, swearing being obnoxiously loud we asked ore waitress to asked the manager three times to talk to the table he refused to help. When you’re spending good money for a great restaurant the manger needs to do HIS Job!! We love the staff but the manger needs to go!! Sorry but everyone should enjoy themselves . Such a great restaurant they should run there place like chicago no kids allowed and no drunk fools who spoiling everyone else’s wonderful dining experience

First time visiting. Couldn’t think of a negative thing to say, from ambience to service to food all was great. Already made a reservation for next week.

Fabulous food. This is our 2nd time dining there, and it's worth dealing with the noise (it IS a basement room) for the exceptional dining. Service is great, drinks are awesome, wine list is lovely. Parking can be an issue. Plan accordingly. *Very* much recommend this unique restaurant.

We had a reservation for 6:00 pm. No one greeted us, finally after 5-8 minutes a person addressed us and asked if we had reservations. I gave them my name, it took her 5 more minutes to find us a table There were several tables for 2 open. We both ordered the Mahi dinners. The entire preparation was so salty and without any other seasonings. Neither of us could palate the fish which had no 'wood-fired taste' and we left. The evening was our first to Brother Fox and we will not return nor recommend it to our Pensacola friends. We have many better restaurant choices with better service, chefs, atmospheres, and prices.

I wasn’t impressed with buffet only for Mother’s Day. I was a big disappointed in my opinion.

A wonderful range of dinner offerings. We have been her several times and never disappointed. As are all of the servers, Gwyn was superb. Well worth a visit here if you haven’t been.

I just love this restaurant. The food and atmosphere is wonderful. The chargrilled oysters are excellent, just wish they served them with a little bread to mop up the sauce. My favorite dish is the grilled whole chicken with tortillas and sauce!
