We serve Tea Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
*dietary requests made 48 hours in advance must be submitted on the reservation. We offer Vegetarian options and Gluten-Free Tea Tiers. There are no vegan or dairy free options . Our sittings are Timed, please make all arrangements to arrive with your entire party on time.

Brooklyn High Low pulls from both Low Tea and High Tea traditions to offer an afternoon tea experience with a Brooklyn twist. Complement a pot of tea with our triple tier plate stand filled with baked scones, crumpets, finger sandwiches & house selections of yummy desserts. Choose from three different experiences, each leaving you more full and comforted than the last. Our Tea experiences are known as "The Classic", "The Vanderbilt", & "The Heights" Our vintage sitting room lends itself to a nostalgic experience while our garden offers fresh air, soft lighting, and a spacious atmosphere.

With our PREFIXED "Grand Vanderbilt" tea service you'll enjoy a 75 mins Tea service. Each guest will receive a bottomless pot of 1 choice of Tea, we have more than 25 to choose from. Each Pair of guests will share a triple plate tea tier complete with a fresh baked scone, strawberry jam, lemon curd & clotted cream, and 1 each of the 8 flavors of tea sandwiches we serve. Each tier comes complete with a small salad and a Yummy selection of 3 sweet bites per person along and a chocolate covered strawberry . Your Triple Plate Tier comes stacked with 8 finger sandwiches per guest. 2 each, Classic Cucumber & Dill, Egg Salad, Branston Pickle & Cheddar and last a Cheese with Jam. We did the Vanderbilt tea. The tea was great and so was the food. The decor and ambiance are awesome! The only bummer is the 75 min time limit. I understand having a time limit but that felt short given the cost.

My mom and I had tea at Brooklyn High Low as a Mothers Day weekend treat and it was lovely! The staff was very knowledgeable and kind, the tea was delicious (we’ve been to many teas and this was some of the best tea I’ve ever had - very unique blends and varieties) and the food was lovely and abundant. My favorite part was definitely the tea and the space itself - it’s really gorgeous and whimsical. All in all a truly delicious and wonderful experience!

My mother and I went to celebrate an early Mother’s Day. We had such a lovely experience! We loved our tea choices and the little bites were delightful as well.

I love this place so much! I've come for their tea service about half a dozen times now and each time it's been so lovely. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and thoughtful and the food is far superior to any I've tried at other high tea services. Their sandwiches are inventive and always fresh — something you would think is a given at iconic places like The Plaza and Bergdorf Goodman — but surprisingly Brooklyn High Low's food takes everything to a whole new level. The vibes are cozy and casual but the whole package is much better than anything you'll find at a "fancy" counterpart. It's such a great experience that I don't want too many people to know about it in fear that I'll never be able to get a reservation again!

Thank you for the opportunity to reply to your feedback. We brew our teas fresh upon your arrival. When you arrive you pass our tea tender. They begin your prebrews at that point and serve them at the 5 min brew mark (we brew strong ) any temp over our 212 burns the tea as well as posts a danger for guests. I know people who like an extremely hot brew, that is best enjoyed in the safety of your own home. Our host did rebrew you a second pot and also provided a tea warmer to keep it warm table side. As for savory flavors, Your reserved a Classic tea, comes with a jam and mascarpone (sweet) Branston pickle ( tart ) Egg salad and a cucumber sandwich . 3 of those 4 absolutely are savory. For a larger variety we would suggest reserving the Vanderbilt for the 8 different flavors.

This was the most delightful experience I've had for tea time in NYC! The environment was so charming, food delicious, and tea was excellent. We sat outside and the heaters were perfect, and even gave us a cozy blanket just in case. Highly recommend! I will be returning for sure.

Had an amazing, amazing time! Staff was very hospitable, the outside seating was so cute and the perfect temperature, and they were very accommodating of our dietary needs. Would definitely go again and highly recommend to anyone looking to do a high tea experience.

Very nice experience and ambiance. Staff was very nice but the sandwiches were the worst I’ve had at a high tea experience. Unfortunately there was no filling and the bread was very bland and dry. The “birthday cake” (which was not cheap) was basically just a large sweet piece of bread.
