Inside a hotel which was not advertised and made it awkward to find. Service was wonderful, food was unfortunately bland, ambience was okay. Recommend sitting indoors as the outdoor area doesn't have much going for it.

I had the Brix Tex burger it was very good. Cooked perfectly. Not dry. Tasted so good. Two others in our party had the regular burger and also enjoyed it. We all had the garlic parm fries. They were good as well. The restaurant was almost empty and service was slow. Our drinks were empty before our waiter even appeared to ask if we wanted anything. This was the only negative about the dinner. Pricing was high but expected. My burger was $25 and the regular burger was $20. They did come with fries but there was probably an up charge for the garlic parm fries. Alcohol drinks were $14 and very weak. I suggest ordering wine or bring your own and drink in your room after dinner.

Grilled Caesar was incredible. We were only group there on a Monday at noon so got perfect service in beautiful setting. Other group was enjoying patio dining.

Best burger ever! The food is really good. The staff is very attentive. They have outdoor patio seating. The burger was excellent. Pretzel bread. The french fries were crisp on the outside and very tender on the inside. The drinks are good too. This restaurant is inside of a Sheraton hotel.

We usually don’t love hotel food but we were pleasantly surprised. Started off w complimentary fried bread and cheese. Delicious. We each had a sandwich. Outstanding. Great service. Def a good value with great food and free garage parking.

We enjoyed breakfast with our stay at the Sheraton. The buffet was included with our room package. The “Egg of the Day”, Texas shaped waffle, and other offerings were fun and delicious!

6 of us. Food was good, but one order missed in the kitchen - which was then comped. However, that situation was taken care of quickly by the manager. Service was slow which was weird because the place was practically empty at 7:00 pm on a Friday night. In our case, the slowness didn't really matter because our group was enjoying our time together. We will go back for sure.

I was very impressed with the wait staff. There were two ladies working the floor/bar area in total and it was very busy (convention in the hotel). I honestly felt bad for them, so many thirsty customers.

We had looked at the Sunday lunch menu before we went, and thought it looked interesting, but when we got there, the dining room was empty, the staff was nowhere to be seen, and when we were finally seated, the menu was extremely limited—not what they advertised on the website. My husband’s egg dish was good. The crab cakes Benedict I had tasted like the crab was old.

As a loyal Marriott customer and Georgetown resident, I was excited to give this place a try. However, from the moment we walked in, we were let down. Despite the well-designed exterior, the interior showed visible signs of wear and tear on the tables and decor. During our early evening dining experience, the empty restaurant should have signaled a red flag. We both ordered burgers and steak, and I specifically requested my steak cooked to a medium-rare temperature. Unfortunately, the dish took about 30 minutes to arrive, and my steak was well-done. The plating lacked creativity and appeared haphazardly thrown together. In terms of value, the meal was extremely overpriced and not worth the investment. As a frequent traveler, I would strongly suggest exploring local dining establishments nearby instead of dining within the hotel if you expect a decent meal. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and fails to meet the standard of excellence that Marriott should uphold.

We have been there a few times for the Sunday brunch and service was great, however when we went there this past time for my husband's birthday (which (I put on the reservation) it wasn't that special. We arrived; hostess seemed a little scattered. We asked to sit outside, she hesitated and then led us outside. She asked us if we were ready to order we said yes and then she said ok..let me get your server. Then she came to table and said, " I just read on your reservation it is your birthday?" I said yes my husbands. She said are you staying with us? We said no, we are local. She said oh ok....awkward silence...then she said well happy birthday. Absolutely nothing special in terms of presentation etc. Server shows and looked disheveled. Took our order. Food was ok. The breakfast scramble came with tortillas which was fine but no salsa? Seemed odd. Server must have been new which is all I will comment on. Wasn't the best experience based on prior experiences, which was sad considering this time was a special occassion.

My hamburger was overdone. I requested medium rare but there wasn't a spot of pink anywhere to be seen. The draft beer selection was not as large as I would have expected given the name of the restaurant.

Very disappointed with Brix & Ale. Came to celebrate a birthday at 12:30 on Sunday. Had a reservation but waited for 20 minutes to be seated and waited another 20 minutes to make drink orders. We were handed a brunch menu with about 10 items and was told it was the only menu. Service was aweful. The server didn’t offer second mimosas or bring refills except for iced tea. Eggs were over cooked. Won’t go back which is sad because Valentines Day was lovely.

We made reservations for a valentine's dinner with limited seating. Arrived at the restaurant on time and were seated right away. The waiter acknowledged us after a few minutes but did not return to take an order for 15 more. When he did take our order, we told him what drinks, appetizer, and entrées we would like, at which point he informed us that 3 of the 5 entrées were not available. He suggested the special entrée, to which we agreed. After a while, our originally requested appetizer showed up along with an unrequested one, which prompted confusion from us. The waiter admitted the mistake and removed it from the bill. The rest of the evening was fairly uneventful as far as the restaurant. Overall, slow service on a seemingly well planned, well staffed, limited seating evening. Biggest disappointment was multiple unavailable meals which were not specialty or rare foods, just steaks. Overall, 2/5 for this outing and I would not return or suggest friends to go.

Our waiter was lovely and very attentive. There was nobody there so it was quiet. Small menu. Restaurant is in the hotel. Just underwhelmed - the pictures looked much nicer than what it actually was.

I made reservations for my good friends birthday. We started with the Brussels sprout appetizer which was delightful. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and I ordered the crab cakes. Man!! Both meals were amazing. A plus was the lattes… very creamy and robust! The affordable price point is acceptable because the quality was fantastic. I will be back with my hubby.

Brunch was very good. My wife had the Georgetown scramble and I had the chicken and waffles. Wife's scramble plate was very good. My waffles needed to be a bit crisper on the outside, but the overall taste was good.

I came with My fiance and I was very satisfied all around !!! The waiter was cordial and on top of his game, the food was excellent and the fact that it's very low key and an actual peaceful meal !!!

Brix used to be a nice little restaurant. But it has really gone downhill. The prices are very high. $20 for a burger. $20 for two tacos. Under entrees they only had a single non handheld entree under $45. It would be okay if the quality matched the pricing. But the beef in the $20 tacos was tough as leather. My $14 Texas tini, which is their take on a Mexican martini, was terrible. They also only seemed to have a single server for the entire restaurant. I understand staffing is hard right now but there was a bartender doing nothing and three people at the host stand. It took 30 minutes before we were able to even give our drink order and when we were ready to go I had to literally physically walk to they kitchen to get the server so I could pay. This level of service is simply inexcusable at this price level.
