Brick and Brine is located on the 1st floor of the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Downtown Kalamazoo. Our restaurant is right off of the Kalamazoo Mall past Old Burdick's Bar & Grill.

They recently brought back the original manager who opened the restaurant, Roger Chu. He is quickly bringing back the quality service and food this restaurant originally had. It's great to see him back!

They just launched their new seasonal menu so it was difficult making a dinner selection. Their daily specials were also compelling! Our meal was delicious and the drinks were stellar as always! The staff is the best and our server, Dan, did an excellent job making sure our meal was coursed appropriately so we could have dessert and still be on time for our show afterwards.

Had an amazing experience! Was an anniversary dinner and when told the hostess who brought us to our table placed flower pedals on the table, we thought it was a beautiful touch. Our server Wes was extremely attentive and welcoming he elevated our experience greatly. The food was fantastic and definitely worth the cost.

Eat here! I am vegan/gluten free, but my family is not and they can accommodate all of us with excellent food! Been here several times and will be returning again.

What a wonderful evening! Got to celebrate lovely Leslie’s birthday and enjoy a fine, fine meal to boot. Brick + Brine really knows how to create a special evening, from the “Happy Birthday” greetings at reception, special greetings from Delaney, our wonderful server, to the rose petals tossed on the table, to random staff wishing a happy birthday in passing, a visit from Roger the GM, and a special sweet birthday treat (yes, she shared). A fun, fun night!

OMG! What a great place to eat! Great drinks and everything our waiter Nick recommended was excellent. My husband's bloody mary was amazing. My drink was so cute and cool with a bubble on top, delish. Lobster bisque with puff pastry AMAZING, oysters (baked) were wonderful. My husband's lamb rague was so gooood and the pasta so tender, I couldn't stop eating his food. I have chicken, which was so juicy with crispy skin, sooo good that I wish it had more skin,lol, and I never eat the skin, but this was a top-notch dish. The pistachio cake for dessert was a treat and a must-have. I definitely will be back soon.

Loud table behind us screaming the F word 20 times really took away from our night. Place was packed and loud. Service was exception, food was good but overpriced for what it was.

We had a great time on Easter brunch! Delicious menu, attentive staff, manager visited our table multiple times. Wasn’t too busy, but it was noisy and sometimes hard to focus on my own conversation because the tables where I was sat were pretty close together. Overall a great experience! Would dine there again if I lived in Kalamazoo!

Nothing short of having a great time. The maitre’d greeted us and offered to take our coats. We wanted a picture of us and he agreed to take the picture. Drinks were great. The scallops were excellent as an appetizer although three was an odd number. I had the duck and my wife had the salmon. The $22.00 dessert was enormous but wonderful.

Our first visit but not our last. We came to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was so nice, happy and attentive. Made it feel more special than "just dinner". We really enjoyed the food options as well. Everything came out beautiful and was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

The highlight of our night out was our waiter, Sam, who was attentive, friendly, and readily accommodating of our questions and requests. The restaurant manager also kindly stopped by to check on us which we appreciated. The cocktails were top notch: we had the La Vie En Rose and the Firehouse No. 4 Old Fashioned which were fabulously presented, well-balanced and tasty. After an appetizer, we settled on the fried chicken for two with champagne, which, in addition to the tender and moist fried chicken and of course champagne, was accompanied by generous and delicious sides, all of which were great but of which the macaroni and cheese was the standout for us. Although we had to take some of our appetizer and dinner with us (it could have been fried chicken for at least three!), we knew we would not want to miss dessert. So we ordered a bourbon chocolate chess pie to go which absolutely did not disappoint when we enjoyed it later. This was our first visit but will not be our last. It was a very enjoyable experience with great food and service in an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere without any of the overweening pretension that sometimes accompanies fine dining.

We ate at Brick and Brine for our anniversary this year, because we knew they had good food and they were open on a Monday! I had lobster bisque as an appetizer which was delicious. I had the scallops which came on a risotto base with broccolini as a side. The giant scallops were cooked very well and were melt-in-you-mouth tender on the inside, but lightly crisped on the outside. My wife had the 14 oz tomahawk pork chop, which was massive, but cooked to medium and was delicious. We also ordered a side of fingerling potatoes, which are served family style and are sufficient for a party of 4 instead of 2. But that gave us enough to bring home a box of about 1/2 the pork chops as well as potatoes. Our service was good, but the only glitch was a rather lengthy gap between finishing our meal and the return of our waitress to check on dessert or after-dinner drinks. The prices seem rather high, but considering we got three meals out of the dinner, they were not out of range. We will be coming back!

We visited for the first time for my birthday. Everything was excellent; service, food, and atmosphere. Cocktails were nicely presented. Prices were about what you’d expect for a very good dining experience. My husband hates restaurants generally, but even he thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. We will definitely return!

Lobster pasta was underwhelming for the cost and two pieces of lobster per entree that we received. I’ve had the dish before and there was significantly more lobster. We were seated fast, the hostess was awesome and so was out waiter! Appreciated the well wishes for the birthdays we were celebrating.

It was a great experience celebrating our son’s birthday. Our server, Jordan, was very personable and attentive without being intrusive which is a very fine line but she handled it well. The manager stopped to ask how things were going and was aware of the fact that we were celebrating a birthday. He was also helping the wait staff with minor tasks that can easily pile up if left undone for even a few minutes which kept the flow of service running smoothly. My only negative comment would be the bread served before the meal, it was quite stale. Definitely below the standard of all other aspects of the experience.

Atmosphere is pleasant, service was fantastic. Lots of good choices on the menu. Meal size very generous. A little pricey, but good food.

I have written many times and we ought to find a way to skip it when we eat there multiple times. Food always good, service as well.

Perfect place for a celebration! Annika was so attentive to our needs and always kept the conversation going and topping off any drinks that needed it. She didn’t seem like a casual server, but one that wanted to create a warm and inviting environment so we had a great experience. With her as our server, amazing drinks and yummy food, we definitely enjoyed an over the top meal. We will be back!

Ate at the bar and the service was amazing. Great food recommendations. Had the duck which can be a risk but it was incredible. It is inside the Radisson which may put you off but it is amazing.

We had the most impressive young waitress. She was always present but never too much so. Most polite and refined. Also, the manager stopped by our table and made us feel welcome and appreciated!

The food is meticulously prepared, and the server (Anna) was top notch. They make it a point to ensure you have a delightful VIP experience from the moment you arrive. When I booked, I selected 'date night' for my occasion and they arranged rose petals on the table upon seating. Such an unexpected surprise. I recommend valet because the server will even arrange to make sure your car is available when you depart. We didn't even ask for that...they asked us about validating our parking and then when we informed them of using valet, they took car of making sure it was ready. First class all the way! We will be back.
