Our modern history has seen this building through various restauranteurs. Each of them has done their best to cultivate a brand of high quality food in an upscale, yet comfortable, hometown atmosphere.

Now owned and operated by local family, Brewsters Bar and Grill participates in many community events and fundraisers, serves as a backdrop for your family's celebrations, and remains a fixture in Old Town Galt all year long. The food took over an hour to receive. The waiter was kind enough to take two of our plates back to warm up the food and took off my daughters breakfast due to hair being in the potatoes.

As always Chef Konnor hit a grand slam! The starter cheese blend with olive oil and bread was a great kick-start next up, roasted chèvre and garlic appetizer was perfect. Tikka masala was rich in flavor and not over-spiced, the rice was fragrant. Shrimp Alfredo with poppardelle was rich and creamy. Dessert was crazy good, cremè brûlée crisp and rich, the key lime pie with raspberry swirl is a winner! Last but not least is Mashawn, our server. Fun, attentive, perky, friendly made our dining experience complete. Big, big thank you to Kim & Konnor!

We’ve been to this restaurant several times in the last few years. The calamari was tough and the caper sauce was overbearing. The prime rib was also tough and at least 1/3 was fat. Very disappointing.

Live sax player when we entered, making a reservation was hassle free, service was friendly and efficient, food was tasty. Overall a great date night location. Definitely recommend.

It was my family’s first time at Brewsters and we loved it! We went on a Saturday night and they had live music which was wonderful! The ambience is great and the food is delicious!! The meals come with a nice, hearty salad as well. We loved listening to music while we enjoyed our drinks and steak! The desserts were also great and we would recommend the lemon and blueberry cake! Also the staff was very friendly and willing to make modifications for any menu item! We will definitely be coming back soon!

The steak and prime rib was good. My wife dinner shrimp was good. Everything was good the Mateo was hot, grape food.

Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Professional staff. Had live music singing duo, very good. Atmosphere got a bit noisy but that's cuz they sang oldies but goodies!!!

Had my kids and grandkids in for dinner! I had a great experience with every single person there from the bartenders to the waiters. Service was so amicable and attentive. THE FOOD WAS AWESOME AND WELL PORTIONED!! You definitely get your bang for the buck! I will definitely see myself there. I do have one area of improvement I say. The lighting as you come in is very dark at night and brings a chilly, stark place that makes you wonder if you are in the right place but once you get serviced and eat the food, you will forget about all that. It would be nice though, to add some warming lights to the bar area and across the diner.

Fantastic find, our third visit. Brewsters has been a sure hit when we want reliably delicious food. Of four people, two had brunch, two lunch menu on a Sunday at 1230H. Steak and eggs were perfectly prepared per the customer (medium rare) another had Bleu cheese burger cooked medium, also cooked just as asked for meat lovers. Potato and sweet potato fries were delicious, very fresh, no issues common with fries! Great service. This was Christmas Eve day, staff was friendly, quick and happy to make a simple substitution with an order. Mimosa’s come with brunch, two of us enjoyed the fresh squeezed touch of OJ in Sparkling. The Bloody Mary cocktail was a balanced drink from the beautifully carved, wooden bar in front of which, there is a structural glass floor peering down to a wine cellar. The historical building adds to the experience. I definitely recommend.

We had a good time at Brewster's last night however the service was a bit sketchy. Our server took one drink order at a time, and came back with one drink at a time, didn't really give anyone a chance to order all at the same time. We ordered supper and it seemed to take a long time to come out which was fine, however 2 of the 4 meals came out and it was at least 5 minutes before the other 2 came out which left the first 2 meals chilled somewhat as the air temperature in the restaurant was a bit chilly for November. Food was as usual plentiful and delicious!

It was the first time we were there for dinner and experience with fantastic. Food was delicious. Our server was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was good. I will definitely be back.

Would highly recommend Brewster's. The reservation process online is easy to do. The food and service was outstanding. In my book, there is no place in Galt that even comes close. Brewster's is not like a lot of chain restaurants where you feel like you're packed in. The place is spacious and comfortable and a great dining experience. Sure, they are a bit expensive, but what isn't these days. Will continue to visit Brewster's whenever I am able.

We've eaten here a couple of times before, out on the patio, but it was too hot this time, so we ate in the dining room. I hadn't noticed before how interesting the interior is. We admired the pressed ceiling tiles, wood, high ceilings, and antique-like wall fabric. The service was great--attentive but not hovering. The cocktails seemed fairly reasonably priced and the smoked Old Fashioned was done well with proper Luxardo cherries. The entrees come with quite a lot of side options and was delicious.

We have't been here since before covid. We always enjoyed sitting outside in their nice patio. They had a 6 piece band playing with horns blasting and drums pounding as loud they should have provided ear protection. The food is pretty good, the service was fair, but we couldn't hear ourselves talk. Found out they have music on Friday's and Saturdays, so won't go back on those days.

Delicious food with many choices on the menu. Like many small restaurants in the post Covid world, there is a shortage of enough servers and qualified kitchen staff. On Father’s Day, the restaurant was moderately busy, which affected the time it took to actually get our meals.

We are two couples coming from El Dorado Hills & Ripon, we realized Brewsters is mid point for us. We have been meeting for many yrs & still agree Brewsters is the greatest place. Truly is a gem! Atmosphere, service, & great food.

I find the entrees quite pricey, but the food was good except for the overcooked vegetables. The service was excellent and place was very nice . Ample parking. Good place to take out friends and families.

The table rocked, my companions salad was gritty & each of our pork roast slices was gristly in part. The accompanying mashed potato, grilled asparagus, bread, and wine were generally good and the outdoor seating was decent. A desert to go wasn't very appealing. The waitress provided excellent service in general & removed the salad. If it wasn't for senior pricing, I would have felt very financially abused.

Brewsters is always a go-to but they do not recognize reservations made with this app. You must call!! Lesson learned! Regardless if this, they were amazingly accommodating and got us taken care of right away.
