Our vision combines New Orleans inspired recipes with handpicked top-notch local ingredients. We are Cincinnati's only New Orleans inspired gastro pub and we are passionate about staying true to those roots. Our mid-19th century building beckons our guests to come in for one of 18 all craft beers and wine on draft, a house made craft cocktail or one of our lovely small production wines. However, the food is the star at BrewRiver.

Our outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink and an amazing meal! You may be lucky enough to wander in on a night where a blues, folk or jazz musician is playing! Our goal is to give you a little bit of The Big Easy right here in The Queen City! We hope you will come join us and Laissez les bon temps roulez!

We had two appetizers and two main dishes served with alcoholic beverages and everything was amazing! Great atmosphere and my boyfriend loved it. Second time coming. Will be back.

The food was excellent. There is definitely a variety and a choice for all tastes! Service is extremely slow, so plan on being there for a while and enjoying the atmosphere of the restaurant while you sip your delicious drinks and eat your yummy food.

This is a GEM in Cincinnati! Can’t believe it took us so long to discover it. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, really took care of us. They took pictures of our group, and were so helpful in choosing dishes and drinks. The food was delicious and each dish well thought out and prepared fresh. Drinks were tasty, too! Live music added to the fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you, Brew River Creole! ❤️

The atmosphere at Brew River is authentically NOLA. The quality and flavor of our meal was evident throughout every dish. Our waitress was busy throughout the meal with a large group table, (not ours), that made our service slightly less than ideal. I high recommend Brew River to anyone that loves Creole cooking.

Loved this restaurant. Chef trained with Emeril LaGasse, you can sure tell. The flavor was there, for sure! Meat was cooked to perfection. Wine was so good!!! The ambiance was welcoming, somewhere to revisit for a cozy summer date night. Our server was so nice!!

This is my second time there and it got better! Great lively atmosphere and band!! The food was so good, with lots of flavor. We always have to take a lot home. The portions are very generous. The value is unbeatable for the freshness of the ingredients. I love this place!

My husband and I eat here often,sitting at the bar,enjoying the delicious food, camaraderie, and delightful music. This Saturday we brought a large group of friends and sat at a table in the main dining room. A wonderful time was had by all. Our server , Megan, was excellent, food fantastic, everyone enjoyed themselves. Always a great experience!

We chose BrewRiver off of the list of Cincinnati restaurant Week list. We did have one of the 1st reservations, Having said that the service and food was great. We look forward to going back to try more of the menu.

This was a first visit for all of us. Three of us ordered off the Restaurant Week menu. Everything was delicious. The gumbo, bbq shrimp and grits and Jambalaya were all excellent. Just note that the Jambalaya is spicy. I like spicy food. The banana bread pudding is to die for. Please offer it a la mode. A guest in our party had the mussels which were very delicious. This place has a great ambiance and live music in the bar area. Friendly customer service. The only negative is the restaurant has limited seating for 8 people, so we were near the door to the kitchen and restrooms. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went to Brew River for Cincinnati Restaurant week. It was a great experience. We had the gumbo, salad, pasta Monica, creole jambalaya and the banana bread pudding. Delicious. Our server was absolutely fabulous. Where else can you get a $3 happy hour martini. We will be regulars from now on.

We went for restaurant week but didn’t order off that menu as there were no savings. My husband did enjoy the Happy Hour $3 Martini though. Fried Green Tomatoes were 4 for $12…. Way over priced as they were suntans thin. Alligator bites were also small. Mussels were the best. Catfish basket was mostly fries with 2 pieces of catfish which was kind of overcooked. As we arrived early with barely anyone else there I would have thought the quality would have been better?

Brunch was delicious! I did the fried chicken sandwich and ordered a mimosa pitcher and our server was nice enough to mix her favorite concoction(passion fruit and pineapple juice) the chicken was delicious and I can’t wait to come back for dinner menu!

Food as always tasty and full of great flavors. Expect to enjoy a bit of wait for the food as it is prepped home made style for every meal ordered. We had brunch here for the 2nd time and highly recommend the Chicken with waffle!

The food and service were outstanding. We ordered fried green tomatoes, alligator bites, shrimp and grits (non-traditional recipe), and chicken fingers. Everything was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were scrumptious!! Our server M was pleasant and friendly. We are already planning our return.

From the moment we were greeted at the door until we walked out happy, it was a great experience. Chef here is tops. Service friendly and impeccable. Best fish and chips in town. They use locally-sourced meats and ingredients - salads flavorful and NOLA dishes authentic. Did I mention the bananas foster bread pudding and the thick dark chocolate beer brownie for dessert? Oh yeah!

Overall good. main complaint is that buttermilk crispy chicken dinner is tenders...which is fine for the fried chicken basket but... it's weird. tasted fine but bone-in chicken please and thanks. BEST thing I've had twice now is the Alligator and waffle. DUHLICIOUS! Gator may be some of the best preparation I've ever had. Gumbo poutine delish, cocktails delish, Mussels delish! Didnt care for either pasta dish...the mac and cheese or the pasta Monica, but otherwise good

Great food! They a little of everything to meet everyone’s requirements. I do think we were forgotten about a few times only because we were in the back room by ourselves. The server was friendly and we still enjoyed our time!

Streetcar Burgers are the best! Couple of large parties in the dining area were quite loud and we couldn’t hear each other at our own table - we will request a booth next time.

Enjoyed brunch and my chicken and waffles were delicious. My bloody Mary did not have the pickled veggies as described and was just okay. Place filled up and the servers were able to keep up with the crowd. My huband enjoyed his eggs with goetta and a bisquit.

I had the fried fish basket. The fish was perfectly done. No grease - just perfectly crispy fish. Probably some of the best I’ve had in the city.

I was excited to try this place as I've been wanting to for a long while. The ambiance was perfect, as was the service. I was surprised that the meals didn't even come with bread, less surprised but disappointed not to get a small side salad. We shared an appetizer and two small plates. The alligator was good and so was the Pasta Monica. The shrimp and grits we awful, the worst I've ever had, almost inedible. For the price it came with a very tiny portion of grits and the Worcestershire sauce was a different spin and terrible. Our check for dinner for two was $100. A bit pricey considering you don't even get bread. I doubt I will ever go back. There are too many places I can eat out at that price and get all the bells and whistles.

Went here with my friends for girls night out. Enjoyed the happy hour on Wednesdays-$3 martinis and half price wine! I had the Caeser salad asked for extra anchovies and didn't get them and just to let you know it's a "wedge" of romaine. It was okay but the mussels were plentiful and delicious and came with plenty of bread to dip into the delicious sauce. Most of my friends got the pasta-huge portion and they all said it was very good.

We had a large group of 15 for a birthday brunch. The service was mediocre. The food was not hot when it arrived. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I won’t be back.
