We are open for lunch, offering full bar and Devil Moon’s menu! Walk-ins only for lunch service.

For parties over 8 please call for reservations.

Brewery Saint X, located at the corner of Girod and Loyola on the ground floor of The Odeon at South Market, will feature a full array of craft beer styles, focusing especially on classic German and British offerings, with a nod toward traditional lager brewing and cask ale production along with hop-forward ales and experimental sours.

Our brewery will pour no fewer than 12 drafts and 2 casks for on-site enjoyment, along with a selection of freshly canned beer available to-go. The state-of-the-art draft and cask system will ensure that all beers are served at the proper temperature and with proper texture; in addition to the traditional hand-pump cask system for dispensing real ale, Czech-style side-pull faucets will be utilized to best express the creamy softness of great lager beer.

Draft Beer

Brewery Saint X specializes in the small-batch production of traditional lagers, hop-forward brews & cask ales. Through careful ingredient selection, bespoke brewery design & time-honored techniques, we aim to craft full-flavored ales & lagers with the intentional, slow production approach that leads to memorable beer experiences. Our lagers are step-mashed, decocted, long-aged & naturally carbonated to produce crisp, dry & boldly effervescent brews with malt complexity. We dispense through side-pull faucets to further enhance the soft richness of these brews. Our hoppy brews utilize select hops from around the globe, each sourced for maximum flavor impact, & balance aromatic intensity with soft drinkability. Our British-style ales are refermented in cask & served through a traditional beer engine for gentle carbonation, a round malt body & unmatched freshness from the most sessionable of beers

Small portions for the price. Service was sub-par and not very attentive considering the place was pretty empty at this time. Probably our most disappointing meal in NOLA this trip.

I have been to Saint X a few times and have had great experiences. Unfortunately, today, was not one of them. I made a reservation for 7 a week ago or so and when we arrived at the restaurant at the reservation time the hostess told us it would just be a few minutes until they printed out new menus (not sure why we couldn’t be seated then they bring us the menus). After 15 minutes of not being seated we told her we were going to sit at the bar until our table was ready. Another 20 minutes past before we were seated. We never had a server come until we asked the bar if we could place an order and the bartender came and took our order - only for drinks she said she couldn’t take food orders (???). More employees showed up and we still had to ask if we could have a server to order food - when we did order food the order was incorrect. Also, the pimento cheese was supposed to be served with fried saltines and we got regular wheat ritz?? Ordered one turkey sandwich it was never put in to the kitchen then they came out with two saying that’s what we ordered when we asked where it was (the waitress didn’t write down our order when she took it). It was honestly just a disaster and the place was super unorganized. We decided instead of getting more drinks that we would go down to Walk Ons instead. Really let down by this experience.

Every beer we tried was delicious. Cocktails were much better than expected for a brewery. The food also blew us away. Possibly best chicken I've ever had. Sure it's not an easy walk from the Bourbon Street festivities, but catch an Uber from a main street and it'll be a nice change of pace that is definitely worth it.

Perfect spot for a drink before a Pelicans game. The Staff was warm and friendly. We caught the GM on our way out and he made us feel so welcome. We will definitely go back!

Booked a table here in order to watch the Super Bowl and was delighted. Despite the busy schedule, we were seated right away and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Food came fresh and quickly, and everything was delicious. Frozen Pimms cup is a must try! The appetizers are yummy and the portions are generous. Plenty of TVs to watch a game if needed, but even with that we could still hold a conversation and enjoy our dinner. The bathroom is shared with other venues in the space, so be aware that during Carnival season it can get a bit gnarly, but the restaurant doesn’t have control of the cleaning for that. Would absolutely recommend!

We selected Brewery Saint X because it had such a high rating on Open Table and Google. The food was good but portions were on the smaller size. The server was excellent and I regret not getting his name. The restaurant appeared clean, but we did see a mouse running near our table after we had already eaten.

This place is fantastic before or after (or both) games at the dome or arena. We went before a Pels game. Service was great, the food was really tasty BUT the salt level was extreme. Every single food item we ordered was over-salted. The beets in the beet salad were also really hard and kind of awkward to eat. Green tomatoes were super thin and fried and delicious (but too salty). We tried many different beers and they were all fantastic. Stowaway, Fade Away, Kazoo, Charm School, all fantastic. It’s loud in there. Overall, for the price, proximity to the sportsball games, and beer, it’s worth it.

The restaurant had great service, food was absolutely delicious! There was a football game on and with all the cheering going on it was still great! We totally enjoyed our food, drinks and our waiter was very attractive. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely come back when we visit New Orleans again.

The gulf fish dip is outstanding but the portion is totally unbalanced - a mountain of chips with a smaller smear of dip. All food was great, service just a bit slow.

We had one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The turkey BLT with smoked turkey from their sister restaurant Devils Moon BBQ was unbelievably good. Everything about it was perfect for me. To top it off they have some of the best fries I've had in a minute. On the service side, we were running late due to Superdome traffic and I messaged the host. She was amazing and messaged us back letting us know that we would still be able to get in once we arrived ~30 mins late. Really put us at ease. Great experience, great food and get the brisket old fashioned!

Fantastic Service, EXCELLENT craft beer selection (the Blueblood fruited sour is unlike any beer I've ever had), Wonderful atmosphere, good food. And, dog friendly.

It was a Saints game day and the place was packed. We had a table of 8. We were treated as if there was no one else in the house. Service was impeccable. Food was incredibly delicious. Drinks were tasty. All good around.

We got the burger and spicy chicken sandwich along with the smoked fish dip, all were very good. Lots of craft beers on the menu to choose from. Nice place Overall, I’d definitely recommend

Great service! Boudin balls were very good. The cheeseburger was fantastic. Not crowded right now but once people find out how good the food is ...watch out! Good beer and cocktail selections.
