Really nice meal our steak was cooked just right mushroom sauce very nice and staff were good

I found this restaurant to be very noisy to the point that the people on my table could not have a conversation with each other. Really struggled to hear the staff when trying to make our order. The food was not hot, barely warm in some instances and the portion sizes quite small for the cost.

On a slow night we had a Great meal steak was like butter ,great taste with fabulous sources.

Spot on as always, welcomed in through the door and was perfect from then on. My wife and I both has the roast lamb with all the trimmings and it was lovely. Service was great, will be back soon!

Absolutely amazing the best steak I have ever had and the dessert was beautiful (recommend the banoffee pie!!) they made me feel super special as it was my birthday with a glass of Prosecco for me and my partner and my pudding was on the house!!! Perfect end to an amazing holiday the staff were super friendly and helpful and genuinely cared! If we’re ever in Kent again I’ll definitely be coming again!!! Thank you for such a lovely evening

Food was good however fish despite saying grilled in miso lacked any flavour. Lighting next to me kept flickering every other minute. Also no tartar sauce but serves fish? Very confusing. Staff were great tho and burger was very nice

We have been to Brettingtions a number of times and very much enjouyed the experience so when we had friends joining us from Devon, we wanted a special experience. The menu was completely different with less choice. We didn't get a started which we would normally do as we didn't recognise anything and nothing stood out. I have usually got a half lobster ad salad with chips. Half of my lobster was missing and it was substandard to the amount that I gave had in the past. It was the same for my friends - they were disappointed with what was served. The dessert that we wanted was unavailable so we didn't have anything. Our hostess, Nishara and the server were great and I cannot fault them, Sadly, the food was very much not up to what we have had in the past. I am not sure that we will be visiting again.

I went with my friends on Wednesday and was served by carlene who treated us so warmly and made us amazing cocktails and the steaks we had were perfection we will definitely be coming back

The restaurant was far too loud meaning my party had to shout at eachother and still couldn't hear eachother at times. Lots of people crammed into a small space. Steak was over cooked on all 4 dinners. Drinks were forgotten meaning we had to chase the waitress who then brought them over. Food was not value for the price we paid. £35 service charge which (although staff were very polite) was not above and beyond given the frustrating ambience of the restaurant. Unfortunately will not be returning

The restaurant was very accommodating as we were early by 45 minutes so we sat at the bar and had some of their excellent cocktails and reviewed the menu. Server Max was excellent - attentive without being over powering. The booths were good as you could have good conversation without hearing everyone else. Steak, lobster and sides were all excellent and the crispy beef starter was amazing
