This is our second time at this restaurant and our first time having the dinner menu. The service was superb and the food was absolutely amazing. If you are stuck between ordering the potato confit or mashed potatoes, I highly recommend the potatoes confit. The serving sizes were excellent, the drink menu was abundant (the bartender was excellent), and our overall dining experience for dinner time was the best we've had in Edmonton. Highly recommend this place if you've got the $$$ or if you're looking for amazing food. We will be returning.

Ambiance was great. It’s a beautiful setting beside Roger’s Place. Server was trying to up sell wine and sides. That was annoying. Ends up he forgot to give glass of mescal and was super late with 2 glasses of wine. Plus he forgot a coffee for my friend but after 2-3 x remind he finally got the coffee. Food was average for the money.

Service was far from great. Good was good but all eggs were way over cooked. Overall was an ok experience but for the price was very underwhelming.

First time eating here, and let me tell you, absolutely blown away at the food. We started with the caviar, which was presented beautifully, and the accompaniment was spot on. My date had the tenderloin, I had the strip loin, and we shared the mashed potatoes as well as the carrots. Everything was cooked perfectly, and well seasoned. We finished the meal with the crème brûlée, and left with a huge smile on our faces. We eat out frequently, and have to say this was hands down our best experience in the city to date. Highly recommended.

There is a complete disconnect between price of food and quality. For example I ordered pasta with butter only and had to pay $35. 12 oz steak $67 and really was quite mediocre.

We had an amazing dining experience at Braven. It is not only beautiful but the staff are extremely professional and kind. Our food was exactly as they described it and tasted even better than we hoped for. Thank you so much. We will be back.

I was really disappointed by the so-called hotel policy. I bought a cake for my husband birthday and the staff refused us to take it inside and when we requested they demanded a fee for it $ which Was just not acceptable and they didn’t inform me when I was making a reservation. Really not happy with this.

This is our go to place for really good food and service. Plus the cocktails are always really nice. Service was incredible as always. All steak cooked perfectly to how you want it. Out of this world I love it here

Was an awesome evening! an Oilers game that night made the excitement a little bit extra and once the game started a lot of the patrons left to attend the game so it was a little quieter, which made it nice as well. Food was far above expectations. Server was friendly. Definitely a must do venue again !

Was really disappointed in the meal. Other times have been good experience. Both meals were extremely salty. When we advised the waitress she was very concerned, however the kitchen was not. Wasn’t looking for free meal it was just very high on salt. Duck was good and not salty however burger and the sides of the duck were extremely salty.

We went to Braven just before an Oilers hockey game. We were so happy that the service was excellent and prompt. Our server informed us that the service is different on non-game nights so we will definitely be checking Braven out on another evening when we have more time to savour the meal and enjoy a fine dining experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was definitely loud as it was quite busy and filled with hockey fans. Food and drinks were all fresh and delicious - & came out in great time. My husband ordered the spaghetti Bolognese, had a Caesar to drink and a light draft beer. I had the famous macaroni and cheese with organic seasoned chicken. I also had a refreshing cocktail. 5/5 would recommend Braven.

An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The best steaks you will find followed by perhaps outstanding service . Braven needs to be on everyone’s list who enjoys a great steak..

Love the food at Braven. We ended up being seated adjacent to the kitchen which was not ideal. Noisy and far to much traffic around the table. It was a busy night and our server was stretched far too thin to give proper service.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Braden for dinner last night. Steaks were excellent…exactly as ordered…and our 2 appetizers…salmon sushi and wagyu carpaccio…were fantastic. Highly recommended.

I have been wanting to go to Braven for a while and finally got the occasion to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday for a brunch. I could not have done this in a better place, the decor was amazing and the food top notch.

Fun night. Our group decided to each have our own proteins and added family style share dishes. Food was on point. Service was amazing Melanie is amazing and answered all our question. Gold star to her. Favourite dish by all is the cauliflower side. Highly recommend to round out any meal. A+++ Well done 👍🏻

The Braven I honestly think is overrated. The food is ok, nothing to get excited about honestly, considering the price your paying here. The waitresses are amazing and very friendly. It’s a clean restaurant, very friendly atmosphere.

I was disappointed this time round, especially since our previous experience was absolutely amazing. Sadly they were out of the Wagu Carpaccio. The food took way too long to arrive. Glazed carrots did not taste great (would not recommend). My steak wasn’t as delicious as last time (not juicy/tender instead chewier). Server was nice although could have been a bit more attentive, as it wasn’t very busy when we were there. Food presentation was nice. Might have just been an “off night”.

From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcomed. Our server Nick is a true professional, last of a dying breed. He made us very comfortable and gave us great suggestions to make our evening awesome. The food was spectacular and we can’t wait to visit again.

We went for their Sunday brunch and it wasn't a great experience. The food was okay, the service was fine, and it was extremely expensive. I thought it would be fun to do a more expensive brunch for a celebration, and it was in the bottom half of all brunch places I've been. The only part I liked, was the atmosphere - it was a pretty cool looking room.
