A wonderful experience. The staff were so attentive and professional. The setting and ambience was lovely. Food, well this was exceptional!! Best food I’ve had within a 15 mile radius. Highly recommend!

Have booked Boys Hall for a big celebration in July, so decided to visit for breakfast and tour building. Had to wait almost an hour from ordering for breakfast, however it was decent and good quality ingredients when it eventually arrived. Had to order two drinks because of the wait (might have offered one gratis as a gesture of goodwill???) Tour of site and rooms booked was fabulous. Rooms sumptuous and very much looking forward to private dining experience!

Beautiful grounds and restaurant is light and airy. Staff were attentive and the service was excellent. Food was delicious and we simply cannot wait to return.

Boys Hall Restaurant offers delightful food in a pleasant setting with fast, friendly service. However, their interpretation of Chai Tea falls short of expectations. While the overall experience was enjoyable, the chai lacked the authentic flavors one would anticipate. The restaurant's positive attributes make it worth a visit.

Fabulous restaurant which I’ve only just discovered. Second visit and like the first time could fine nothing to fault. Delicious food, beautifully presented and delivered by a team who make good service effortless. If you’re not familiar with Boys Hall, take a minute to stop and find out about the rooms. We managed to get a quick glimpse and I’m already hatching a plan to stay - soon!

Charming building and dining room; well-conceived dishes; excellent wine list with a good choice by the glass. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful; attentive but not intrusive. A very pleasant lunch.

In the past, I’ve been to Boys Hall for their set lunch menu and have also sampled their delicious rare beef sandwich in the bar. But on this occasion, we were going to Boys Hall to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived a little early so had a pre-dinner drink in front of the beautiful inglenook fireplace in the period lounge. All the staff were very attentive and friendly and enquired as to whether we were at Boys Hall for a special occasion. We were seated in the restaurant at a table overlooking the terrace and lovely gardens. Our servers were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the food and drink, much of which is locally sourced. For my main course, the Romney Marsh lamb was excellent and cooked to perfection. My husband chose the local short rib of beef and was also not disappointed. At the end of our meal, we were presented with brownies on a plate with “Happy Anniversary” piped in chocolate. A lovely final touch to a wonderful evening. Thank you Boys Hall.

Small but varied menu, well cooked and presented. Good for a special occasion but too expensive for regular visits. Setting is lovely and staff were first class. A gem in Ashford. On a less praiseworthy note, I hope the donation for water goes to charity .

We had a lovely time celebrating our daughters 21st and Tabi loved the complementary glass of Kia Royal before dinner in the pub, it had a wonderful atmosphere. Then we went into the dining hall and enjoyed the view out onto the poteger. All the food was delicious, I would say that our chicken was a bit dry. Tabi complementary pudding was fun and the waitresses were chatty and fun and attentive. We will look forward to returning to the Boys Hall to soak up the more of the tremendous atmosphere.

Our first visit to Boys Hall and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is in a charming room and when the weather improves dining outside in the beautiful courtyard is a must. The food was excellent; my wife and I both went for the stone bass and the combination of flavours was spectacular. I liked that the service was casual and not stuffy like a lot of similar establishments. I wasn't 100% sure but I queried the wine as it tasted a bit sour; it was replaced without question. Overall an impressive first visit and we'll definitely be returning.

A beautiful gem of a place on the outskirts of Ashford. The building is gorgeous, as are the gardens. Inside, the rooms are dressed beautifully, every detail is stylish and considered. The bathroom is lovely, clean and fresh, just be aware, it's a unisex room, and even though the stalls are designated by gender, I found it uncomfortable to come face to face with a strange man as I stepped out of the stall into a closed room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the service was excellent but there was a funny moment when one of the waiters couldn't lift a bowl off a tray because her fingernails were too long to grip-maybe nails that long aren't really appropriate for restaurant service...?! Overall, it was a great evening. The menu was varied and catered well for all preferences, the food was fresh, delicious and well presented. We are looking forward to our next visit when the weather is better and we can try the terrace. Thank you to everyone at Boys Hall for creating a wonderful experience, we appreciate all the hard work you do, both front and back of house and hope the mandatory service charge is shared equally between all of the staff.

Food and Service was very good would go again, just a little too much noise coming from the kitchen to where we were seated. Just realised that I never got the mushrooms with my meal will have to pay a bit more attention next time. Overall a good evening meal.

Such an incredible place. We came with children and my daughter is both gluten and lactose intolerant and they were so accommodating. The food was delicious and every dish was amazing. The pork loin was one of the best mains I have had ever and the creme brule was very special. Amazing concept, beautiful venue and wonderful staff- please open a sister venue in london 🙏

We have been fortunate enough to eat at Boys Hall on a number of ocassions. Certainly, the best restaurant in the Ashford area. Excellent food, well presented. Good wine list, with nice selection of Kentish wines. Lovely building and beautifully appointed dining room, in a relaxed format. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

Delicious courses beautifully presented. Excellent service from friendly and knowledgable staff. Boys Hall is beautiful and the restaurant building cleverly built in keeping with the older hall. Easy parking, beautiful gardens. Great ambience. Excellent cuisine. Will visit again.

Very nice location, car park was full when we arrived for lunch, but was able to improvise. Shown through to table and restaurant was virtually full at lunch time. Nice bright restaurant with noise levels that allow conversation without having to shout. Tables are reasonably close, menu was good and wine list very good. I ordered the rib eye steak medium rare which was how it came up but the quality of cut was not great having a vein of grissle through the middle, made it slightly chewy in the middle but certainly not inedible. Would visit again but probably try something else as a main course. Recommended and 4* overall for me.
