Food was pretty good but it took a long time. Booths are fine but it makes it awkward to have inclusive, discreet conversations. Server was professional. Drinks are good.

This was our second time going, and it was as we remembered it. Extensive drinks menu. Food menu is small, but everything we ordered was delicious and presented well.

The Mussels on Friday were a 10/10 but the mussels on Saturday only an 6/10. Both nights service was AMAZING, drinks were PERFECT and overall we will be back.

It was very busy so the service was slow , I enjoyed the mussels ( one of the best in Edmonton ) , my husband found the salmon overpriced for the value of what he received. Please offer more options for those that don’t eat any meat. Ambience was fantastic.

The food I got was great. They recommended the priciest option: Boneless Short Rib. Which is definitely worth it, would go back to have it again. Some people at the table got the burger and that wasn’t worth it at all. The charcuterie board was nice but overpriced for the overall portion sizes. The drinks were good.

Great food. Friendly service. Steak frites was tender and served medium rare as requested. Mushroom risotto interesting and generous. Appreciated music not so loud we had to shout which seems to the custom these days.

Wonderful girls weekend brunch! Good service, waited a bit for the French toast, was worth it but timing off with the other two Benny entrees delivered to the table a good 20 minutes before it arrived. Super cute and cozy decor, good location but a bit hard to find if you’re not from the area. The sign at the street was helpful. Will definitely go back another time when in Edmonton!

I’ve been to Boxer several times, and was impressed enough to give it another visit. Overall, I love the ambience, the vibe is is great. I arrived on time for my reservation was seated promptly. This is where it went sideways. It took seven minutes for a server to come over and to greet me. The amount of time I had to wait was offputting for me as there were several servers that walked past never made eye contact with me, two bartenders that walk past never made eye contact with me, and then, finally on that seventh minute a person came over and said that they would take care of me as their server was not in, and they would provide me some service at this time until they got there. Coming from the hospitality industry I didn’t take too well to this, as when a new person walks into the place it should be recognized that there is a new person. It should be acknowledged from everyone, whether it’s their section or not. All servers should be covering each other’s back whether or not one person is there or not hello is to be said to everyone within a timely fashion, generally, two minutes of walking into a place a person should be greeted. This did not happen. Once the server did come around, she was quite charming, and she did have good knowledge of the menu. This will not deter me from coming back to the place. However, I think it’s just important. That management covers the importance of acknowledging each and every patron when they come into a restaurant and the importance of greeting a client within the first couple of minutes.

Valentines day special was very good! GF really enjoyed her food. I also liked her plate however mine was very good! Just not to my taste preferences. Very cool ambience but the music choice was interesting given it was a romantic valentines event.

My girlfriend was visiting from out of town and we went to Boxer for wine and food. We shared a bottle of wine that we enjoyed. We also shared the muscles and they were the best muscles I have ever had. We both were dreaming about the broth the next day. Highly recommend as the vibe is good as well as the service. Great overall experience.

The prices to quality was really disappointing. I had the gnocchi and it was dry. They brought browned butter but that was burned. Other food was also dry or disappointing for what we paid.

Beautiful place, great ambience. Creative menu. Good service. They didn’t have some of the menu items (French toast) at 12 on a Saturday when they advertise brunch.. which was disappointing. Avocado toast is surprisingly spicy. Croque madam, eggs benny & burger were all delicious! Will be back and would recommend :)

The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. It was not busy and we were served promptly. The cocktails were excellent. The food was mostly ok. My daughter ordered the ratatouille and it was raw on the bottom with rock hard cold vegetables. She replaced it with the pork belly that was very hard to cut and eat. Others at our table had the burger (excellent but fries were cold). Two orders of short ribs (tasty but a bit salty) and the Caesar salads which were good. Was disappointed in the quality of the food overall especially for the price.
