We visited on a Wednesday evening in May and we were seated immediately. Our seafood dinners were very good. One of us had a Margarita which tasted very good. Service was excellent. The dining room is a little echoey. We would go again.

The food is over priced for what it is. Our server, Andrew, was very good but he was handicapped by the fact that they were short a bartender. Our wine came when we were 2/3s of the way through our dinner. Overall mediocre.

My husband and son dined here for mother's day on 5/12/24 at 4pm. We have eaten here before and had great food and service. Yesterday, everything was awful. Our waitress Wendy seemed like she could care less of serving us. I almost had to get up and track her down for refill on iced tea. We had asked other servers nearby for refill on tea or water, and no one seemed to care. Pawned it off to I'll let someone know, etc. Unbelievable! Our food was mostly bland and extremely disappointing. A lot of money spent for subpar service at a Brennan's restaurant. She only came to comment on our desserts and seemed to try to be pleasant. I suppose wanted a tip. Other than the brief comment on dessert, she never came to see how we were doing or enjoying our meal. We will never come back. I am glad at least had the company of my family for the meal but definitely picked the wrong restaurant

A fantastic meal. The crab claws were amazing, as well as the shrimp and grits. My wife got the shrimp po-boy. Truly a rememberable dining experience.

The Louisiana crab claw bordelaise had the tiniest crab claws I have ever had. I will never order those again. Also, the chargrilled oyster were not chargrilled. They still tasted very raw and mushy. I will not be dinner here again. It was not what I expected for such an upscale restaurant.

The restaurant was very noisy and the food was mediocre. Our server was so busy he missed bringing out my raw oysters order for appetizers. The oysters didn’t bring out until after my meal. I went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the restaurant didn’t acknowledge it. There are a lot of other seafood restaurants around, i wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Akin to a dining room on a cruise ship, our booth’s seats sat low enough we had to reach up to eat. The food was disappointingly bland. Not worth it even at the last minute. Just stand in line at a better oyster bar.

We had heard good things about their chargrilled oysters. What we received were extremely plain, lacking any sauce, and no bread was provided. There was no evidence of searing. The blt salad was good. The shrimp’N’gritz were decent but nothing memorable. The location is great and there is potential…

Great food - outstanding service, super friendly staff ! Charbroiled oysters were some of the best - tried various other appetizers as well. They were all delicious, and satisfying Stuffed fish was Devine as were the other meals we ordered

Our server Hank was amazing. He was the best part of the experience. The ladies room was a mess. A jazz club on Frenchmen should t have a nice restroom for the price point

Our waiter Christian was excellent. This is my 1st time in NOLA and Christian recommended the oysters with crawfish. It was DELICIOUS!

Very nice experience. Char broiled oysters were delicious. Experienced servers make a huge difference in the evening. We will return.

Food was great, Christian, our water, was great, had a nice discussion with a manager about Fender guitar on our way out, and they had George Porter Jr. Porter for my choice of beer.

Everything was perfect. Our waitress was fun, kind and patient. The food was outstanding! And all 7 of us tried a different old fashioned and each loved their version best.

The Food was good and drinks were also good. The atmosphere was good and restaurant was noisy but nothing to complain again since it is on Bourbon Street. I would go back if I ever visit again. Nothing stood out except when the manager offered us complimentary drinks due to our late anniversary trip

I hate to be negative as I have eaten here before and been very pleased. It was a festival weekend so crowds were large. Server was very friendly but overworked. He had too many tables and could not keep up. Appetizers were good but cold. It got worse. My fish dish was mostly raw. They gladly replaced with a fully cooked one but it was extremely mediocre at best. Many times drinks were empty including water. I hope this was an anomaly due to unexpected crowds but the whole experience was not good. I will try again but not on a festival weekend. Worst dining experience in NOLA in 30 years.

Food was absolutely delicious. Server made great recommendations and didn’t disappoint. Barely had room for dessert but we had to try the praline cheesecake and brownie sundae and you should too!

Bourbon milk punch is the best in town, in our opinion! Talk about a fantastic adult milkshake! We would stop in just for that drink, even if just to go. This has also been our spot for Shrimp & Grits. Admittedly, it hasn't been as good the past two times. It is not that it is bad, it just has not had the melt-in-your mouth flavor as it had in the past. It is just missing something on the flavor side of things. It is cooked well, shrimp are good, get four in the dish total. I added crawfish to mine, which really helped with the dish, as the portions seem to have shrunk the past year or two. Still enjoy it, but it is just missing a little something on the flavor that it used to have. For years, it was the same dish consistently, but the last two visits have not been the same. My wife is a Shrimp & Grits girl, raised in the South, so she is has the particular palate for it that got me hooked on it, too. Service was fantastic. Literally fantastic. The best service of our entire week in New Orleans at any restaurant. Ambiance at Bourbon House is great. The bourbon selection is crazy good and too numerous to count. While a bit critical on the Shrimp & Grits, simply because it was so very good previously, Bourbon House is one of our favorites.

Terrible service. Drinks took 30 minutes and it was a bottle of wine! Server disappeared and after 40 minutes we had to summon the sommelier to find out where our food was. Then it all appeared freezing cold presented by a surly manager. I asked for my oysters to be heated and he grabbed the plate from my hand only to return with them cold. Absolute chaos in this place and no kindness to alleviate the terrible experience. Would never return.
