Located on First and Main in the heart of downtown Napa and housed in an historic 1880’s building, the Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQ has been voted “Best Wine Bar in Napa Valley” for years running. The old-West themed Wine Bar features an incredible wine list, over 40 wines by the glass with tasting flights, artisan beers, and a full lunch and dinner menu created by Chef Mark Johnston. The Beef brisket, Pulled pork, and our signature Beer can chicken are the best in the West! The Wine Bar is open late on the weekends, which means you’ll have plenty of time to rub elbows with some of Napa’s local winemakers.

Of course, the main reason to come to Bounty Hunter is the wine. Wine connoisseurs will not be disappointed with the variety, as there are over 400 highly allocated wines adorning the shelves for retail purchase or to enjoy while dining with us. For those looking for something a little more stout, Bounty Hunter curates some of the best whiskeys in the world.

I come to Bounty Hunter annually. The server wasn't friendly or welcoming. The chicken wasn't hot nor tender and for $30 something dollars it should be. I am not sure if I will go back next year when I am in town.

The background music stopped midway through our dinner. We were there with clients for a business dinner. Drinks were slow to refill. We felt like we were being rushed out so they could close.

Went for lunch. Food, service, wine choices, Excellent. Corey - our main server - outstanding. There when you needed him, and good advice. We travel extensively, including BBQ in KC, Tulsa, and Memphis, and Bounty Hunter ranks up there. Has a 1/2 rack of St. Louis Ribs and the Beer can chicken sandwich. All perfectly cooked and very tasty. For a small place, highly recommend. Yes, we will be back.
