My steak tasted great. My mashed potatoes tasted great. I just wish it would include either a salad or another side. I leave there still hungry every time I go. The price of the steak dinner we should include something else. Other than that, it was delicious and the service was impeccable.

Went for a birthday celebration the air conditioning was so cold it made all the food cold. I asked multiple times to turn the air off to no avail. the gumbo came out luke warm, and the steak very fatty. had a hard time getting the drinks refilled I have been their multiple times and never been disappointed. I guess there is a first time for everything. When you pay over 100. for a meal it's hard to go back. Unfortunately, the manager did little to nothing to help there were only 3 tables at that time in the restaurant all were wearing sweaters.

Basing this on the Vets location, not quite up to par. The spinach dip was lukewarm at best with the salsa very watery; the grilled artichokes were not prepped properly with purple leaves and the heart was not cleaned and undercooked. The oysters were absolutely fantastic! The cheeseburger was good, fries were cold, the prime rib and baked potato was good, the chicken tenders were not hot when they arrived at the table. The drinks were good, although I suppose due to it being a later seating on Mother’s Day, the top shelf bourbons were depleted. The server was very nice, but was also handling a large table which took up most of her time while we were waiting. Again, using the Vets location as the barometer, Covington has a few things to tweak to get higher ratings.

No lie, I was a little nervous at first. Never been nor heard of the restaurant until I needed a last minute reservation. Curb appeal was amazing! Restaurant was very welcoming and comfortable, amazing ambiance! Hostess were great and our waiter, Jesse! Definitely will take a ride back to Covington for another experience!

Wonderful as always! Our favorite ❤️ restaurant is just wonderful what ever you choose. We had red fish, perfectly grilled topped with crabmeat and fresh peas and carrots. The barbecued shrimp are to die for.
