We had 2:45 reservations and we were a little late. They let us know the kitchen was closing before dinner. And they still served us and were very kind. Food was delicious and the ambiance is great in there. I will for sure be back.

Did not like the table in the garden, the heater was not working above us and it was too cramped, asked to move, would not allow us to sit in table next to it as I asked, which was still empty when I left. Did not have the “malfadine pasta dish” at my 6:30 Mother’s Day reservation, which was why I came, artichoke appetizer was oily and crispy. Service was so so, dessert not special. Disappointed…

When we arrived for our lunch reservation, we were told that the entire dining was being used to film a Real Housewives episode. If we wanted to sit in the dining room we would 1) have to consent to being filmed and 2) sign a very long legalistic waiver agreement or sit in the bar area. Not sure why Bottino didn't notify those who had a lunch reservation that this was happening or make better accommodations to those who had lunch reservations. Not a great way to handle this kind of situation as it felt like diners were not given any priority to a film crew!

Bottino is our neighborhood go-to whether just we two or meeting friends. We can count on a warm greeting, quick service of a solid cocktail and an efficiently-served menu that has something for everyone. So many places have come and gone, but we’re grateful Bottino is here to stay!

A hidden gem I think should remain hidden as the charm is overwhelming and would not like that to be destroyed! Arguably the best Cacio Pepe in the city and the environment is so calm, especially the courtyard.

Our dinner at Bottino stands out as one of the best I've ever had. The mezzo luna pasta was extraordinary, likewise the bronzino. Service was great, beautiful room, aesthetic but not at all pretentious. I'm ready to go back already.

Reserved for a large party and the staff/food/atmosphere was just amazing! The food was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration even better than we thought! Would recommend a millions times over :) !!!

Overall the food was delicious. The apps were yummy. My boar shank was excellent although the meat was tepid and risotto was piping underneath. BUT the pepper in the cavatelli was a bit over powering even after I asked if it was hot as it was for my fiancee. Shes not a fan of spicy. It still left a tingle on my tongue and I enjoy a little heat. Kinda ruined the dish. In spite of the chefs heavy hand with the black pepper.. I would recommend this restaurant.

Was rushed by the servers which makes an unsatisfactory dining experience. The artichoke appetizer was over salted. The steak we ordered was overcooked. An over all lackluster dining experience. Very disappointing as I had heard great things about the restaurant. Update. - it was probably an off night, so don’t let my reviews dissuade anyone from making a reservation. That said Bottino reached out to me and graciously responded to my review. I will give them another try and feel I won’t be disappointed a second time around.

Once again, Bottino outdoes itself. Start with a lovely tented garden with heaters for those of us who still need to sit outdoors. Then, there is impeccable service. Just right. There when you need them, but not overdone. The food, as always is delicious. Most of all is their willingness to make modifications for those of us dietary restrictions. Bravo Bottino!

Bottino has established itself as our go-to place to dine when taking in the Chelsea art scene. Location is perfect; ambience is casual while maintaining an appropriate degree of elegance; food quality is fantastic: last night's branzino was superb; value is excellent.

Ordered the prix fixe menu for Valentine's Day. Food was fairly basic, not much flavor, overall disappointing. The service was quick and attentive, but overly so to the point of rushed and overbearing. While I waited for my partner to arrive I was asked if I want to order my drink by 4 different people.

Wonderful dinner at Bottino! A neighborhood gem with a warm, friendly vibe. Service was excellent and a rare meal in NYC where we could comfortable hold conversation and didn’t feel rushed to turn over the table. Delicious food to top it off. Strongly recommend!

Romantic dinner to celebrate a birthday in New York - could not have been better. Quiet corner lit with a thousand point lights and reflections in the darkened windows of a January night. The cacio e pepe was masterful, it’s difficult to do well and there’s nowhere to hide in this Roman classic dish, but the chef has got this one down perfectly. Surprise chocolate ganache with a candle to end a birthday occasion. We were so happy. We will be back.

Went to dinner after a broadway matinee. Easy ride to the restaurant from the theater. Met the nicest people at Bottino. Great service, very attentive. Food was terrific from the appetizers to the bread pudding for desert. A must try for excellent Italian food in NYC. Parking garage right across the street and a quick shot through the Lincoln tunnel if coming from Jersey.

Lovely date night meal, the lamb chop was divine as was the burrata. Best amaretto sour I’ve had and my partner truly enjoyed their specialty cocktails. Excellent service - would go again!
