Le Botika est un restaurant asiatique/péruvien situé dans le centre commercial Pearl Brewery à San Antonio, au Texas. Élaboré par le chef cuisinier Geronimo Lopez, le menu se compose des cuisines Chifa (chinois-péruvien) et Nikkei (japonais-péruvien), ainsi que de plats traditionnels créatifs d'Asie et d'Amérique latine. Le bar du Botika propose des cocktails classiques et une grande variété de rhums, piscos et cachaças. Had a good time at Botika. The reservation via Opentable was easy, we were seated immediately after arrival and the sushi rolls were delicious. Especially tasty were the pork dumplings. The ginger beer was also very good.

We always love Botika. Great flavors from both cultures. The food is exceptional and the service was great. We sat outside and enjoyed a little people watching over dinner. Definitely recommend.

The starter, Tequeños, were delicious! Also enjoyed the eggplant noodles in my bento box. I’m a vegetarian so can’t comment on how the other dishes were at the table but everyone said everything was delicious.

Our visit challenging to say the least. I brought my clients from Montana to Botika because I had been years before around the time of their opening. We were sat promptly, however it took our server about 10 minutes. The FOH manager stood by and didn't make an effort to ensure we had been greeted. Once the server/bartender came over, she didn't apologize for the late greet, but was nice enough. We ordered a starter and drinks. Both came out quickly. However, when we ordered, the food took close to 30 minutes to come out. The order was 2 Botika Burgers (both medium), The Bento Box (my order) and the fried rice (my client's order). There was no effort to check in on the table or to apologize for the wait-time. Once the food came out, we were missing one of the burgers. No explanation was made, however where we were sitting we could see the kitchen, the grill cook, as well as the BOH manager. It took an additional 20 minutes before we saw the burger make its way to expo. The BOH manager picked up the burger patty with his hands and reprehended the grill cook for overcooking another burger. My client's fried rice had a charred, beyond burnt piece of pork. She ate half of the meal and left it. My bento box had 3 pieces of sushi, some lukewarm fries, a wilted spring salad and some pot stickers. It was a far jump from the Bento Box I had years before. It seemed to be cheap and lacked of effort. Definitely not worth the price. The evening was made more awkward in having to witness the BOH argue. My wife's burger was well done and when the other burger finally left the kitchen, it too was very overcooked. The FOH manager bashfully approached the table and told us he would take it off the bill, which was appreciated. However, no one asked about our other meals and the server did not make her way back over until she was bringing the check. We left disappointed in what was once a restaurant I loved to show off to visitors. Just thought you should know. Thank you!

We sat on the patio for lunch. It was beautiful to watch the farmers market and all the people and their dogs, while we dined until amazing food!

What an amazing place! From the great Happy Hour cocktails & appies, to the interesting bento box & yummy short ribs noodles, Botika does not disappoint! Wonderful experience. We'll be back.

Empanadas are good. The rolls use way too much sauce and lime. Beware, rolls use a ton of nori so if you love nori and can’t get enough of it then this is the place. Otherwise, yuck. It’s way overpriced for the quality. The food flavors are clunky and not well balanced. Service is excellent.

Great atmosphere with knowledgeable and attentive staff. The food is amazing and keeps me coming back to this spot. Go for a nice bottle of saki with your dinner.

As always, teh food at Botika was outstanding! Their menu has a variety of great dishes and sushi! The location at the Pearl in San Antonio could not be better, facing Hotel Emma! The service always very good! The have a very good variaty of beer, wine, and liquor. Can't wait to be back!

Great food and service the ambiance is always good here. Our server Stephanie was friendly and funny and she gave us great recommendations for both food and cocktails . She basically had the bartender surprise us and the drinks where really good not watered down.

I have not been back to Botika for some time. The menu is drastically changed from the original - it is mostly sushi with a minimum of the original Peruvian offerings in existence. What once was an exciting array of unusual choices has become a very pedestrian list of dishes that are easily found in many restaurants. There was so little on the menu that seemed particularly intriguing as I had found on previous visits, and my guests were at a loss to find anything that appealed, so we limited our choices. We ordered the Hamachi Tiradito which was ok, but the fish was in large chunks and served in a bowl so large that it made the serving look like it was shortchanged. The vegetable roll was limp. The Japanese Golden Curry with chicken was over salted and luke warm. The one success was the spicy tuna roll. I was also surprised to find how empty the restaurant was considering it used to be packed with diners and people enjoying the bar. It might have just been the night we were there, but other restaurants in the complex seem to have larger numbers of guests. On the bright side, the waiter was enthusiastically welcoming, and well versed in the descriptions of the items on the menu.

We all enjoyed the food we ordered. I would have given five stars but for my main course of noodles and beef were barely warm and the meat was very fatty but was very tasty.

Food was delicious if you enjoy mixing a little culture in your food. The fried plantains with the lomo steak and fresh cut pickle onion on top 😋 soooo good. We had perfect sitting area with comfortable sofas watching the chefs cook. Will go again for sure.

Food was great, service was on point. We actually prefer noise and lively atmosphere so when we were seated for our date in the separate dining area, we would have liked to be seated in the middle of all the liveliness. But other than that, it was perfect!

This was my 4th time dining at Botika. They never disappoint. Delicious and every option is just as good as the next. The charred octopus was great! Also you can’t go wrong with the fried rice or the short rib and noodles.

We shared lots of the dishes. Sushi was fabulous as was their homemade kimchi, the fried rice with pork tenderloin and the noodles with short ribs were amazing!!
