Food was ok (my salmon was severely undercooked and I had to send it back) but the service was abysmal. We repeatedly had to flag down the bus boy to fill water, bring check, etc.

I highly recommend the Bostonia Public House! It’s a little noisy but the food is deliciously, the service great, and the value is worthwhile!

Been in the Boston area for ages and never ate here and will return! Brunch was excellent and the lobster frittata was a 10! Loads of meat-cocktails also rock! Only complaint is that it was quite chilly inside

It felt like a bar trying to also serve a brunch. We were disappointed and won’t go back for brunch. For example, the scrambled eggs tasted like they were made with an egg mix rather than freshly cracked eggs. Everything just tasted mediocre and not worth the price.

We went for brunch on a saturday with two out of town friends. The "make your own bloody mary" is a very unique feature. Food was great , typical Boston items but good quality. Our waiter, Ana Lucia, was great , very attentive and helpful.

We had a wonderful meal! The portions are very large. Our favorite entree was the crab encrusted cod- just delicious. The fish and chips were also yummy!

It is a bar not a restaurant. Very very loud. Made a reservation well in advance and we were seated in the bar area. Could not carry on a conversation. Will not be back

Wonderful experience. Service was honestly, a little slow. We came at 3:30 and I had to leave at 5. Barely made it. Still 4/5 for service. Everything else 5/5. 2 lobster rolls and 1 ultimate burger (and it was Ultimate!)

Always a must on our visits to Boston. Staff was friendly, food was excellent!! We even did back-to-back reservations (dinner/next day brunch) just so we could take advantage of the brunch menu. Looking forward to coming back.

1st time in Boston and we chose Bostonia because of good yelp reviews and convenient to our hotel. It was a great experience! We ate upstairs at the bar and the bar tender was great! He made a really good Manhattan and I had the crab crusted cod….very tasty! Only one small ding…get some king ice cubes to make a proper old fashioned 😊. Overall, would Definitely would recommend!

We have had our post-Boston Marathon dinner at Bostonia Public House for 4 years in a row. The food and service is excellent and the ambience is modern and cozy. It’s a great choice for any celebration or a great meal/or both!

Great Service; Tiramisu was outstanding! The Steak Frites was not medium rare as I had ordered more like medium-well. Mocktails are overpriced. Notwithstanding, overall good experience and would recommend and try again.

My out of town friend and I had a nice casual lunch at the Bostonia. It was close to where he was staying which is why I chose it. We both had the Tuna Poke which was very good and just enough for a light lunch.

Service and food were great for Easter Sunday Brunch we were accommodated in a quiet spot on the upper level with our 2 year old grandson. We live close by and come often always a great experience.

Overall it was a good experience and decent food. Giving 4 stars because they initially sat us, in our opinion, at a bad table right next to the high traffic entrance and hostess stand. I would understand if we were walk-ins, but we had reservations. Only after we asked if they had a different table (which we could see there were) did they re-seat us. Also, I would give the food 4 stars. It was good but not great for the price category of the restaurant. Ribeye and burger were good. Linguine and clams carbonara and the cold lobster roll were both ok.

Had a great experience for a large party of 8 our server was very attentive and helpful with a little birthday celebration; we asked her if she could bring some donut holes with a candle and she timed it nicely. Everyone seemed happy with their choices.. one side was supposed to be salad and got fries but they were delicious- so no complaints except for healthy choice. Upstairs is less noisy if you’re trying to hear conversation. Sunday Brunch is a great spot before a comedy show at the Garden.
