The tapas and sangria was perfect, good vibe and great staff. A lot of food, and the waitreses had good knowledge about the food. The only minus was- many of the dishes could not be made gluten free! However, they found great alternatives and had good knowledge aboult gluten allergi and cross contermination. Thank you

Very disappointed. Has nothing to do with other tapas restaurants in NYC. Food average. Service was OK. I believe I will not go back.

Loved our time here, had a coupon thanks to InKind and was a great deal and a great date night spot. Got to try many different tapas and split a margarita pitcher! Also service was very kind, quick and did an excellent job.

Great place with great food and drinks. This was a lunch-time get-together with two friends and tapas was the perfect choice.

The service was painfully slow. Our server brought water then didn’t return for over 20 min to take drink/food order and even then didn’t take our food order. We had to wait another 15 for that- and he only came when we flagged him down. We were also charged for more drinks than we ordered and didn’t catch it until we had left.

Nice atmosphere and service very good. Thought the food was good but the flavors in our flatbread were very earthy and I did not love it. Happy to try something new and will give it another try when in the neighborhood which is one of the better parts of New York city.

Tapas were really good. I wish they came by frequently to see if you want to order more. It was hard to get server’s attention. It seemed like they want you to order tapas quickly and leave. That typically isn’t my experience of a traditional tapas bar

Was disappointed . Food wasn’t as good as I remember before. The hot chocolate that comes with the churros was watery it was supposed to be thicker. Ordered croquettes got 3 little balls and I noticed next table they had 4! And we’re paying the same price! Sadly it used to be 6 pcs. Oh well it’s an embarrassment to Spanish people if they represent this place for Spanish Tapas. Doesn’t even come close.

Horrible experience after the “manager “ asked us to leave because we had already use the table for two hours, while we had order many drinks, appetizers and getting ready to order our dinner, he said that we needed to order, eat and leave the table in 30min. If you have time restrictions for reservations you have to communicate this to the costumer know before confirming the reservation and definitely before seating the costumer. Not coming back to this place.

The prices don’t match the amount of food you get. The menu was limited and the seating was uncomfortable for 3 people. Our server was nice and they did try to accommodate my son but there was no ketchup or menu for children which is disappointing. The drinks were ok but it definitely wasn’t a 4 or 5 star experience.

First time dining at establishment. Food was excellent. Server was friendly and attentive. It was a bit noisy. I left with a sore throat from talking over all other chatter.

All 4 dishes we ordered were delicious: ham croquettes, shrimp in garlic sauce, meatballs, bread & tomato. The croquettes came with a sweet sauce that complemented the dish well. The shrimp were seasoned and yummy.

Wonderful time. I didn't care for one of the dishes and not only was the waiter lovely but the manager came over and was very gracious and brought us a different dish.

The food here is great. Lots to choose from. Staff is friendly. Biggest issue is how close the tables are. There is very very little room for intimate or private discussion, or to maneuver accessing or leaving a table especially with coats and bags. I know, it’s NYC and space is not a thing, but even if they took one table away from those lining the walls it might make a huge difference in patron comfort.

All tapas served at once. Hot and cold tapas plates crowded the table. Speed dining was not what I had in mind. Felt like turning the table was priority #1

I love the food, service and ambiance but the tables are so close together, the two seaters are barely a few inches apart along the wall.

There could be a little bit more variations on the larger plates and another option of Paella, but it is understandable because of the size of the location. The plates tasted very good and the srvice was very good as well. Certainly a place we will go back.

We are regulars at Boqueria 40th st. The service is always excellent and the food too! We were on the UES and went to UES location and were extremely disappointed. The service was beyond horrible. They had about 5-6 tables total and it took 2 hours for our food to come out. I literally had to wave the server down to order more water and sangria. It was disappointing because we have great service and food at other locations. I will not return to Boqueria UES.

The service was great as well as the food. The prices are just on the high side but coming from Connecticut, we get it. My only negative comment is that we were sweating the entire time. It was so hot in there that I felt so bad for the servers and kitchen staff.

Food and drinks were great! And I love the new additions to the menu. The server seemed annoyed for some reason and didn’t provide great service. The manager ended up bringing our food. Overall good food.

The food was really good but service was awful. We weren’t once asked if everything was okay, constantly had to try and get someone’s attention to order a drink at the table, wasn’t once asked if we would like dessert after finishing dinner, we would have stayed longer but gave up based on the service. I also booked it as a pre birthday dinner for my boyfriend & made it aware on the booking - was hoping the dessert would acknowledge it in someway - absolutely nothing. Whilst the food and drinks were great, the service just really lets this place down

Unfortunately this restaurant has slipped. Food quality is down. My paella which I have ordered in the past was way too salty and dry. Service was poor. It took 15 minutes just to order a drink, and we came in late when half the restaurant was empty. It is sad to see the quality of this place go down.
