At Bonnie, the focus on locally sourced produce and our modern take on the classics set us apart from the rest.

Bonnie's robust wine list by winemaker Nick Brown, focuses on approachable wines matched with a wine-friendly menu.

Flavour-feigning friends know it’s really all about the delightfully different, hand-stretched delights flying out of the brick-lined pizza oven entrance that are the stars of this show.

With each of the eight pizzas named lovingly after the fourth-generation Brown children, Bonnie is first and foremost about family, wine and pizza.

Inside, expansive north-facing views connect the architecturally designed dining room to a beautiful, landscaped garden. Outside, a circular terrace area on the lake's edge takes in 360-degree views of the surrounding vineyard, perfect for pre-dinner drinks.

Food was excellent and service was superb! We had a lovely table outside, overlooking the pond and the vineyards. Weather was glorious. Couldn't fault this beautiful experience.

Sadly it was a very disappointing experience. We had been previously and had a platter with Gluten Free bread. The platter had three different cheeses and a range of meats pickles and condiments on a big board. Gluten-free came with the most delightful warm 'bread' which we think might have been a pizza base it has salt on it great texture and was just lovely. We were so impressed. we told our friends and decided to visit for that. Sadly, we got one little wedge of cheese three pieces of three meats a small amount of gherkins and tiny olives. There were four of us- three pieces of meat $38 dollars for $10 worth of stuff, but the biggest disappointment was three halves of store-bought gluten-free bread - which is disgusting even at its best. Most of the staff - they were lovely but they struggled to understand us. We ordered coffee which we had to explain three times and then they got it wrong. We asked for a large flat white extra hot and a Mocha large. We got small lukewarm and had to send back macchiato for the Mochca. Not sure what milk they use but it was sweet and wasn't extra hot!The coffee took a very long time to come and then it too was disappointing. Luckily the staff at the tasting site were wonderful! As a life member I was embarrassed by the restaurant -poor quality and poor service even though it had a smile

Table poorly positioned at the door as almost an afterthought for 4 people. Felt completely in the way of the entire customer base who walked past. Service persons were all nice, but seemed chaotic

Appalling service. Not sure who managing it these days but we won’t be rushing back. Prawn pizza swimming in balsamic dressing, a 2/3 full bottle of wine and having to ask multiple times to be served and pay
