Peruvian cuisine harmoniously weaves together flavours from various corners of the globe. Influenced by its rich history and cultural diversity, the culinary tapestry of Peru reflects flavours from Spain, Italy, Japan, China and beyond. Peru’s unique landscape consists of an expansive Pacific coastline, the Andean mountains and the Amazon rainforest – providing access to vibrant and diverse ingredients – varieties of potato, corn, seafood, chilli, fruits and grains are used extensively in Peruvian cooking. Fish ceviche and lomo saltado are two of our classic dishes, come give it a try!

Amazing! A petite place but big personality restaurant. Highly recommend, great food & drink menu, lovely staff. I feel blessed for our area to have such an option.

This place is insane, every dish a perfectly composed masterpiece of flavour, texture and seasoning. I never thought I’d walk into a restaurant, in Wollongbar, and order sweet and sour chicken fried rice. But I did, because the starters were so incredible, I knew I was in safe hand. Perfectly balanced natural sweetness and sourness from natural ingredients, and wok hei galore. Move to Wollongbar and make Bonito your local.

Great suggestions for a good experience. Food was soooo good especially if you enjoy fish. My Davidson plum lemonade was yummy. Good value. Will go again.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at this gem of a restaurant, easily deserving a solid 5 stars. The atmosphere was perfect for a special evening, and their consideration for small children made the experience family-friendly. I tried a glass of sangiovese, served unexpectedly cold – a delightful surprise that turned out to be the perfect summer drink. What added to the joy was the ability to order and share each dish, allowing us to savor a variety of mouth-watering combinations. A memorable night that we'll cherish, highly recommend!

Sensational flavours. Fresh, delightful, colorful presentation. Great friendly service. Every dish was perfect and we can’t wait to visit again. Absolutely worth the 30 minute drive.

I am thoroughly impressed with everything about the Bonito Peruvian Eatery. It's rare to come across a restaurant menu where every dish sounds equally tempting and makes it difficult to choose what to order. Studying the menu was a pleasure while I sipped on a delicious Pisco Sour. I must mention that the service was friendly and the staff attending were happy to answer all questions.

Ceviche Carretillero was delicious and although it fed 2 as a share plate, I don't want to share it next time. It was too good to share. Likewise the Alfador Dessert. Service was excellent. We were made to feel like special customers and it was only our first time. Highly recommend the whole experience!

A return visit to this Wollongbar village treasure - authentic Peruvian food with friendly prompt service; uncluttered menu with sufficient choices. Ceviche and Pisco cocktails are winners. Optional outside dining (undercover) pleasant.
