Food was basic and good quality. The service, while trying to be helpful was too interruptive too many times. It was clear that our party was doing fine, but asking over and over if everything was okay was a bit too much for everyone.

Their $7 add-on champagne for Sunday brunch is one of the most amazing deals I found in Palm Springs! The food was very good and the portions were perfect for me. They were definitely not skimpy on the champagne like most places are!

Bongo Johnny's is a must go to when in Palm Springs .. Always excellent service and food is top notch .. pets allowed in outside spaces .. we travel with our 5 lb. fur baby Olive and she loves the Barking for Bacon on the Woof menu !

Bongo Johnny’s was excellent. The food was great. The service from Liz and Alec was exceptional. Highly recommend Bongo Johnny’s. Will go again very soon.

Always a good place for lunch. Great energy, amazing service and delicious food. Only one issue this time took 45 min to get food. Otherwise great.

We were seated outside until the very strong wind kicked up. The manager graciously moved us inside. He did a great job of accommodating all 8 of us under the terrible weather conditions. Everyone liked their food very much and service was great!

Early dinner, a local diner and haven’t been in awhile. Very good service! Delicious Caesar salad! Best value in Palm Springs!! Good food and most reasonably priced for quality & quantity!!

I have eaten at Bongo Johnny's many many times and have never been disappointed. The service is always great and the atmosphere is great because you can sit outside and you are above the street so you can enjoy what is going on outside as well. Food is always great, high recommend.

The service at this restaurant for brunch was outstanding! Extremely friendly and professional staff, very accommodating and focused on giving diners a positive experience. The food was also delicious! Try the iced coffee too. I would recommend as a great brunch spot in Palm Springs.

Food was good. Enjoyed the beyond burger and yummy fries and my partner had a great Chicken Ceasar Salad. The service is excellent and the servers make you feel at home. Its worth a trip to the Bongo! Insist on a flamingo floatie for your beverage. Campy, but its Palm Springs!

The food & drinks were great! The atmosphere and being able to look out & view the city was amazing. We went on weather perfect weather so it was not windy or chilly at all. Our server was amazing & charming. I will be coming back when I make my visit w/hubby later in the year.

Service was great from the moment we walked in. Everyone we encountered was nice, friendly and attentive. Rigo was our server, he was awesome. Food was really good. Grill cheese, chilaquiles and breakfast sandwich/burger. My pancakes were a bit dry possibly overcooked. There were 4 of us and we had a blast, music mimosas, champagne and delicious food!

I am an absolute fan of this place, but was disappointed on this last visit. The food was definitely off. I had the impossible burger, and my partner had the turkey burger. Both didn’t taste as good as they had in our prior visits. The fries were also cold, which was a surprise. The Caesar salad side that I ordered also was off. Not sure if they have a new chef or we just happen to be there on the wrong night. We will continue to visit, because we love this place. But we hope that to not the end of a love affair for Bongos.

We made reservations for the front patio, which was great. Food and service were great. My husband had the calamari and gazpacho soup. I had the French dip sandwich. Everything was great.

We were seated on the back patio and it was sheltered by multiple umbrellas however, it was raining and the umbrellas did not completely cover our dining area so, all of us got soaked while we were eating. Honestly it was bizarre. They did not offer to move us or comp any part of the meal. The bus men just kept coming around to try to adjust the umbrellas and dry off the seats and tables. I had made the reservation weeks in advance and had never been to the area or the restaurant before. Before being seated we asked to be moved to a different area but they did not oblige. Sadly, it was our first Palm Springs dining experience of the vacation and it was Easter. We all had to go back to the rental, change clothes and get dry and warm after. Not a good experience!! No one from management even apologized or tried to correct the problem…

Hi, I'm sorry that it rained. As I told you, we didn't have anywhere to move you. I would have moved you inside, or to the front patio if that was an option. But since it was Easter, we were completely booked. You made a reservation for the back patio. The only option was to cancel the reservation, but you said you were fine with the umbrellas. I don't think it's fair to tell us one thing in the restaurant and then write a different review.

Four of us went for weekend brunch and the food, service and staff were incredible. Each one us loved our entrees and the Bloody Mary’s are incredible.
