Absolutely exceptional every single time! Definitely my favorite sushi on the northshore. Props for allowing customers to book large groups on here!

Probably the best sushi I’ve ever had! We had the Brussel sprouts, gyoza, crab rangoons, edamame, scallops, beef tataki, rock n roll (with soy paper), wolverine roll, Columbia roll, chocolate chip gyoza, mochi, and lemon drops. It was amazing!! The must haves IMO were Wolverine roll, gyoza, and lemon drops! Kerri (sp?) was the best waiter- highly recommend bc he was so fun and very attentive!

I have a food allergy and the chef and staff were phenomenal about it. The food was incredible, highly recommend if you want delicious sushi.

I enjoyed this visit with a couple of annoyances. The drink list was comprehensive and well matched to the theme of the restaurant. We ordered two specialty cocktails, including one with yuzu, which is my new favourite citrus. The food was the superstar here. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and ordered the Devilled Eggs and the Tuna Nachos as appetizers - both were excellent and the Nachos, which seemed expensive initially, were great value considering the size of the portion. For the next course we shared one "crunchy" uramaki, one "Wolverine" maki and one hamachi sashimi. Again, all were very good. We kind of had two servers. The main server was a young man, who was ok, but a bit awkward. We asked him for some gluten-free soy. He said ok, but never came back with any. Fortunately, there was another lady (maybe a manager or supervisor) who checked on us frequently, made great conversation and did bring the gluten-free soy when asked. We would have stayed and enjoyed dessert, but it was like an ice-box in the restaurant, it was sooooo cold. We asked if we could move outside or to somewhere where it might have been warmer, but there weren't any other tables available. One final negative was the table we were seated at. It was a tiny table for two right by the bar. It's adjacent to the area where all the staff hangs out, so it gets busier and noisier than all the others. Also, every time someone walked past the table it would shake, like a mini earthquake. I'm sure it's all to do with the historic floorboards in the historic building, but it got old very quickly. We knew there was no option to move, so we suffered through it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would come again, but next time I would sit outside, or take the food to go.

Absolutely delicious. We had 2 of the specials, blue crab Rangoon and the spider roll with soft shelled crab. Delicious. And a RYU roll with the best tuna. Even the squid salad was high quality and so tender. We will absolutely be back.

From the greeting when we walked in the door and met our cheerful server all the way through some of the most tantalizing and delicious sashimi combinations of tuna with bacon yam, and the spicy salmon uramaki, our lunch was one of the most enjoyable experiences in quite some time. Bon Sake is another amazing addition to downtown Covington’s culinary scene. Our once quiet community is becoming an increasingly desirable place to live because of additions like Bon Sake.

The service was extremely slow, over an hour to receive our rolls. The waitress forgot one of the rolls when she came out with the food, and by the time she went back to get it, another server had given it to their table. Took another 20 minutes for the missing roll. Music was entirely too loud, I couldn’t even hear the person I was dining with. The prices were also way too high for the quality. The rolls were all very small, and specialty rolls were $20 a piece. I’ve had better gas station sushi if I’m being honest, and there are many way better and cheaper sushi options on the Northshore.

Cody was an absolutely wonderful server and did not miss on any of his recommendations! This restaurant is a keeper and we will be back over and over and over! we do feel like the music is louder than it needs to be and that would be my only complaint because otherwise I don’t think you can go wrong here!

What an awesome addition to old Covington! I've eaten here multiple times now and the flavor in the rolls is phenomenal. Ask for pickled wasabi… Thank me later. The ambience is fun but this last time we sat in the back room and it isn't as fun as the front entrance room with the bar. I think they need to lower the lights a little bit. Love this place. It's my new favorite spot on the N Shore

The noise level was extremely high. That affected our dining experience very negatively. Measures need to be implemented to mitigate the noise, such as under chair boards, window coverings, greater table spacing, etc.
