Bodega Highlands, nestled in one of Edmonton's most historic residential neighborhoods, a step away from the majestic River Valley. Our Highlands location has gained the reputation for being the perfect spot for a date night. With just 40 seats, this intimate space is moody and romantic. During the summer, snag a spot on the patio, and settle in. Our Spanish and Portuguese Tapas offerings will transport you.
We want to be a friendly neighbourhood restaurant & kindly ask guests to observe a two hour dining experience on busy nights so we can entertain as many of our cherished patrons as who want to come in.
Our Patio is now first come, first served. We are also taking reservations for up to 4 with open table. For any reservations larger than 4, please phone us at (780) 757-0137!

Great food, good menu variety. Lots of choices and many excellent dishes. Piri Piri prawns are wonderful. Red wine Sangria is wonderfully refreshing.

Another quality evening. We were very well cared for by your 2 staff snd they provided kind and suitable acknowledgement of our 40th anniversary. Even to the point of the gentleman working that night helping my wife out to the car. Impressive! He should be commended by management for his attention to detail.

This was our first visit to this restaurant but it will certainly not be our last. We enjoyed everything about the evening. While the restaurant is certainly "cozy", we found we had an excellent table with sufficient room to dine in comfort. Our waitress Mikela(?) was delightful, and the food was exceptionally good. We settled for a selection of tapas and were not disappointed, although we ordered too much. We enjoyed all our plates and the challenge next time will be whether to stick to the plates we loved or risk trying something new. My guess is it will be about 50/50. Somethings we likely will always have, as they were so good. And we didn't even look at the main courses or the desserts. We read a number of reviews before our visit and they ranged all over the map, although they almost entirely were complimentary about the food, and rightly so. Some found the restaurant too noisy. We didn't find that. You certainly couldn't hear a pin drop, but we were able to converse fairly comfortably. The atmosphere was a bustling Friday evening crowd having a good time. We found the service excellent, the timing of the plates suited us perfectly, and every plate was excellent or better. We will definitely be back.

I have been going to Bodega for a number of years. I have been to a number of other Tapas places. This is by far still the best one. Thanks for all the great times.

Wow great experience. Highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect birthday celebration. Almost doesn’t feel Edmonton but a place you’d find in Vancouver or stateside. Food was oh sooooo delicious.

We had six different tapas to share among the three of us and were not disappointed in any of them. We also tried all three desserts on the menu, which were as outstanding as the tapas. Also had the patatas bravas on the charming waiter's recommendation. Wow, best potatoes I've ever had. And I've been eating potatoes for seven decades! We had them instead of bread. Why fill up on bread when there are so many delicious options to sample? We thought every single dish was incredibly good. Interesting and delicious flavours, exquisitely presented.

Bodega never disappoints, but this location is especially cozy and charming! Our server, Todd, was incredible. And of course, the food & wine were perfect 👌 I can't wait to go back!

If you reduced the volume on the background music it would lend itself to lowering the volume in the room as a whole, seeing as how it’s a small space. The food was delicious. The service was good. $16 for a cocktail may be a little steep but overall it was an enjoyable evening.

Love love the highlands location! By far it’s the best! Food - always is deliciously made and super tasty! They have great gluten free options as well! Service - staff here are always accommodating and friendly Price - it’s a bit expensive …$20.00 for glass of wine :( Overall it’s a great restaurant and we will be back!

Mostly Gluten-free menu. Excellent wait-staff. Some of our favourites are the artichokes, Brussels sprouts, Spanish meatballs, and bacon wrapped dates.

AMAZING EVERYTHING!! We were in for a family ‘celebration’ and Bodega Highlands was the fantastic spot to go. We loved it for the quaint location and small restaurant vibe, the service and food put our experience over the top! Thank you so much. We will definitely be back.

Gem in the neighbourhood (Highlands). Highly recommended. It's very energetic (noise level), so best to avoid if you're looking for a quiet place to share a meal with a friend. Otherwise, truly a wonderful place to visit.
