                                                                                                      Very good food - the filet mignon and bourbon pecan cheesecake were quite tasty - an excellent appletini, and fantastic service (shout out to Andy) in a cozy environment made for a very good overall experience.

                                                                                                      When someone comes to town, my first choice to entertain is Bob's. The food is always exquisite, the ambience is always nice, and the staff, oh my, the staff makes ALL the difference. Between Gary and Logan and my main man Andy, nothing goes overlooked. Thankful to have Andy and the team there to take care of anyone I bring or send over.

                                                                                                      I pasted/copied this from Bob’s website; this is THEIR dress code: “Bob’s Steak & Chop House enforces a business attire or smart business casual dress code. Your comfort is always our priority. However, overly casual attire is not appropriate for dining in our restaurant. Tank tops or sleeveless shirts, flip flops, boldly logoed athletic attire, gym attire (including sweats or hoodies), beachwear, and provocative clothing are considered too casual for Bob’s Steak & Chop House. We also kindly ask that ball caps be removed while dining in the restaurant.” Prior to visiting this restaurant, i called to be sure i could wear “dress dark jeans, dress cowboy boots & a sport jacket”. I was told yes I could and I was specifically told I could NOT wear a baseball cap in addition to the other items listed above in quotation marks. Absolutely none of the above clothing items were enforced. We saw several men (2) wearing baseball caps, another single man eating to the side of us was wearing shorts, athletic shoes, several men had on ragged, torn jeans and T-shirts. Most of the women were dressed appropriately. However some did wear t-shirts. I was greatly disappointed in that most diners were dressed very casually (surely not business smart), as if they were shopping at a local grocery store ! I do understand that some restaurants nationwide are struggling and dress codes are being relaxed. We were told ( by the hotel) that because of the Dallas Fan Comic-Con convention being held at the same time the rules were relaxed. My wife & I were celebrating our anniversary & we expecting the ambiance of a “fine-dining” restaurant: semi-quiet, intimate (to a degree) & an enforced dress code. We were simply disappointed. Now, the GOOD POINTS ! The food was outstanding. We had the wagyu tomahawk ribeye (we split it) & it was cooked to perfection. The other items, appetizer, salads sides and wine were all good too. Andy, our waiter was THE BEST & took time to talk to us.

                                                                                                      Great experience! My husband got the Texas wagyu and I got the filet. Both were delicious. For our sides we got the creamed spinach (heavy on the cream) and the Mac and cheese which were so flavorful!
