Overall relatively good experience, with a couple of caveats. Food was very slow, 45min from order till arrival. Sushi orders came out at different times over a 15 min period.

Wonderful, attentive server! Happy Hour all day on Sundays! The drinks were delicious, including the espresso martini I thoroughly enjoyed! The sushi was delicious/fresh and the charred spicy edamame was on point. Would recommend and go again!

First time here and it didn’t disappoint!! The sushi was the best I’ve ever had! The drinks were great too! So many different workers checked on us so the service was outstanding. We will definitely go back!

We sat outside and had a great experience all around. One member of our party had celiac and was provided a different menu. She ordered from it, had no reactions, and enjoyed her meal. Delicious food and drinks!

We had a great waiter. When we arrived at 6pm, there were 4 open tables outside on the patio. We asked for one of those tables and quickly advised no, not available. Those tables stayed open until we left. Hmmmm. The sushi was tasteless. Too much rice to the fish ratio. The ginger was not fresh, and was a limited quantity. The sake options were great. The food was produced quickly.

Waitress was exceptional even after the Host was rude and made us leave to make a reservation on line to actually be able to dine. Telling us they were booked the rest of the evening which was a blatant lie. We only had a party of 4, my husband and 2 boys (4 and 7) who live sushi and were confused at the interaction and being essentially kicked out the first time. We only decided to go back to teach a lesson to them that lying and rudeness should not be met with equivalent treatment but kindness, grace and forgiveness. The icing on the cake was hearing our youngest shout with love to the host on the way out, “Have a great night!” and when the Host ignored him, he just yelled it again!

I have dined at Blue Sushi several times and been pleased overall. This most recent visit I noticed that the service was not as good as in the past. Less focused and more haphazardly. Food quality is excellent which should be a given considering the high prices. Recommend their happy hour for best values.

The food was great and came out in a timely manner. We had a variety of sushi rolls, wraps, and edamame. All were delicious. I would definitely go back. Service was good as well.

Our server, Gabrielle, was absolutely “The Best”. She was personable and very knowledgeable, but not intrusive. The food was excellent as always-as a vegan, that’s not always the case for us when we dine out.

The food was SO good. It came out quick. Very well priced for sushi + being downtown. I would come back just for the mango crab rangoons… the mix of sweet and spicy and crunchy, amazing.

Had a great meal. The weight staff was lovely and professional. We ate early and we’re on a time budget because of a show we were going to. They did a great job to service quickly and we had a wonderful meal. Can’t wait to go back again.

Amazing food. Attention to detail from the note I sent thru Open Table about it being a late Valentine date night and my wife’s allergy. One of our favorite places. You should come here too, especially if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Courtney was a great server and super friendly. The food arrived quickly and by different food runners- all efficient and professional. Saw the host or manager cleaning tables thoroughly and also saw the floor being swept after the table was cleared. Very clean environment. The level of service, teamwork, and cleanliness that Blue provided is missing in so many restaurants today.

Having lunch in the middle of the week might be a very different vibe from dinner. However, while the food was good, service was very slow even though the restaurant was essentially empty. We went for a birthday lunch - I wouldn't recommend it for a special occasion.

Food was very good, alittle over priced but considering location price was not bad. However the service was horrible. I waited 20 minutes for a refill on my beer. Finished my food and drank my wife's water. The waiter showed up with my drink after we had ask her for the check. Very disappointed in the service we had, could've just been the server we had, the other tables did t seem to have this problem

They were very kind and helpful when we were running late for our reservation; parking in the surrounding area is a disaster but that's not their fault, if you're going to go, be sure to check for any events clogging up the Broadway area. We had the South Pacific roll and the Godzilla Bomb roll, strong fans of both, but I would prefer the Godzilla Bomb of the two if you're in the mood for a properly spicy piece of sushi. Would absolutely go again.
