It was….okay. The food took a long time to arrive, and maybe we didn’t order well, but nothing we got lived up to the expectations that were set by these 5-star reviews. It is a fine, slightly overpriced suburban restaurant that is really popular at the moment.

Blue sake never disappoints. The food, the cocktails, the service and the ambience were all great as usual. A very nice Mother’s Day lunch it was indeed! 😊

A pleasant and up-beat place to enjoy beef cooked on a heated rock at ones table. The service was good. We enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere.

I reserved a standard table for my birthday and there was a huge party that came in that would have fit just fine in the bigger tables behind the hostess stand. Instead, they wanted to sit me on a high top next to the kitchen or a table in the middle of the walking path that just didn’t belong next to a column across the bar. It was the most poorly designed sitting for a table of 2. I was absolutely infuriated when my table was given up and they suggested I sit in tables that were just nosebleeds of tables or sit in a round table for 6 as my romantic birthday dinner. That level of customer service is not the level you would expect from a restaurant downtown Naperville. What’s the point of reserving and setting a preference if you can’t be guaranteed the table. Then don’t ask when booking.
