Blue Ribbon Sushi is a vibrant Japanese restaurant and sushi bar a located in Palisades Village. Inspired by the original restaurant created over 30 years ago in Soho NYC by master sushi chef Toshi Ueki and Chef Brothers Eric & Bruce Bromberg, this cedar clad new comer offers outstanding Japanese cuisine based in tradition and passion. Chef Lee leads his team in sourcing and preparing the finest fish and shellfish from The Sea of Japan, Local waters and beyond. A curated and adventurous beverage list featuring Blue Ribbon's own sake selections as well as favorites from their travels and discoveries in Japan is rounded out by a selection of house cocktails, Japanese micro brews and wines from California and Europe.

Busy day being Mother’s Day, but reception at desk was surly and not at all accommodating which set a poor tone for an otherwise pleasant dinner. Simple things - be pleased to see guests arrived ! We were late - we rang ahead to inform the desk - 10 mins, just to be polite and ensure no delays. Desk had no idea when we turned up exactly 10 mins late as informed and sent us away to wait for next table despite having booked and informed. Poor - won’t return.

We have not visited Blue Ribbon for a while, so it was a pleasant experience. As always, we enjoyed the variety of sushi. We raved about the O-Toro, Kamasu, and Akamutsu. Looking forward to our next visit.

We LOVE Blue Ribbon, especially this location - food and outdoor ambiance is great - staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and offer great suggestions - Pacific palisades is such a communal area and this spot encourages friendly chats among other guests, especially outside where your friendly dogs are welcome!!

It was a great New Year’s Eve dinner. We had the Sushi Bar to ourselves for a while, so it was fun. We will visit again.

It was a second visit. And, once again, we were impressed. We never came across a menu with an extensive selection of Sushi. Some of it we have never heard of, so it was nice to learn something new. Looking forward to dining there again.

It was a first time visit. Quite an amazing menu, for there were dishes that aren’t always available at local Sushi restaurants. Everything was splendid; especially, the Staff’s warm hospitality and service. Will definitely visit again.

Too many screaming poorly behaved kids. The scallop appetizer was actually 1 and 1/2 scallops sliced in half to make 3 thin pieces for 22$.

We found the ambiance and service (Lydia) satisfactory, but the Chef's Sushi plate was uninspired for size, presentation and taste. As first timers, we wanted very much to like the restaurant but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

They knew it was a birthday b/c we notified via OpenTable. The hostess said happy birthday but the restaurant doesn’t do anything to celebrate. Heartless punks. Awesome food though!

I love 70 miles away but going to your restaurant with my family is always wonderful!! The sashimi plate is my favorite. The fish is ample, fresh and delicious!

The sushi chefs are super attentive as is the wait staff. I lived in Tokyo for 9 years so not and bar none Blue Ribbon has the highest quality sashimi I’ve had since returning to California.

Blue Ribbon is a sushi restaurant. The fish is really fresh, the service and location are good, but when is a sushi roll worth $21? Nothing about the look and feel of this restaurant makes you feel like you are getting value. The Draycott across the courtyard leaves you with a similar feeling, but at least that restaurant has better ambiance and drinks. I had to go here once because I live in this neighborhood, but I would not travel here for this restaurant.

The food is always good however the staff can get distracted, and not be very attentive, and for $100 a person meal, that is disappointing.

Not a fan of the yellowtail collar. The Ka drink was great! Service was a bit slow but good overall. Been here three times. Will definitely be back.
