Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak combines traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern day steakhouse. Our menu is varied and extensive, and includes sushi and sashimi, as well as cooked entrees such as fish, lamb, steaks and chops. We feature Domestic and Japanese Wagyu. Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak is located in midtown Manhattan, at the PENN 1 Building, across 33rd Street from Madison Square Garden and atop Penn Station. The restaurant is accessible from 33rd street, and from the newly renovated Penn Station and 34th Street via the lobby of PENN 1. We offer various seating areas - a sushi counter, a cocktail bar, the central dining room, and an outdoor patio (weather permitting).

    The food was great and there's an energetic vibe but $24.00 for a glass of chardonnay is out of control.

    Love coming here. Service was excellent. Super accommodating! Food delicious. The crispy rice appetizer was the best!

    I’m surprised this place received so many good reviews. I thought the food was mediocre at best. The worst part was that it was incredibly noisy; you literally had to yell (very loudly) to be heard. We wanted to finish and run out of there as quickly as possible. Gave 3 stars only because the waiter was good. Would not recommend.

    I’ve been to the other locations and loved it. So in my head this was a no brainer. The staff is amazing. Everything was just good. Nothing really wowed except the fried rice. The steak we ordered was supposed to be med rare… it was raw. Tried to eat a few pieces had it sent back & it came back moments later still raw like white fat raw. Other than that hiccup everything was good. Not like the other locations but good.
