The food is excellent...so fresh! My husband had oysters that were fresh that day as they are every day! The food was so well prepared and presented and the staff was top-shelf and so nice and accommodating. The music is a little loud if you want to have an intimate conversation but I am old so who knows!! Love this place and so will you!

Arrived with vegetarian guests and they wouldn’t provide a veg dinner entree for them, instead we had to serve them a bunch of sides. They have plenty of veg food on the menu, so they should do a better job accommodating vegetarian diners. Served us the wrong dishes at first and then two of the veg dishes were inedible - the lentil soup and the zucchini. Will not go back.

We had the lunch prefix. It was really great value and the food was delicious. I also want to say that, although our server was only on her first day, Nor was wonderful, attentive, and friendly. All in all a great experience.

Good location and atmosphere with good cocktails. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating but not well trained and unable to answer basic questions about the menu like, where are the oysters from or how is the shrimp saganaki prepared. The food is inauthentic and poorly prepared. The branzino was fried and dry. The swordfish was overcooked and dry. The octopus was tough and flavorless. The tuna tartare was so over-powered by one ingredient you could not taste the tuna. Finally the seafood platter was ordered because it included caviar. When we began eating it we noticed there was no caviar included and when we asked about it we were told that they don’t have caviar so it’s not on the platter. When we asked if we could have a few extra oysters in place of the caviar they did oblige.

Had a dreadful experience: Someone took our drink and appetizer order (not for the main course). We got the very tasty appetizer in a timely manner... then NOTHING!!!! We did not get our drink order, no one came back to take out main course order and did not see our server again...poof vanished!!! Eventually we got someone's attention who was neither helpful nor apologetic, got our small check and left. We've eaten there several times and were always satisfied...but this time the total lack of service was inexcusable

I chose it because it is the most talked about mediterranean cuisine in the Upper East Side lately. Actually the food was amazing. There is also a live DJ performance after 9pm on Sunday. It was truly a different experience to be accompanied by chill live music while eating. The hostesses are very sweet and the servers are very knowledgeable about the food. I will definitely come again to celebrate my birthday.

The cocktails are amazing, we had to make a reservation to sit at a table outside in sunny weather because it gets very full. friendly staff, my fav place for brunch

Went there for brunch. I will definitely be back . Great quality off food and service. We had the Nutella pancakes which were delicious! the hot falafel platter was tasted so fresh. The staff was great. Highly recommend.

Food was awful- cooked spinach put on top of the muffin (eggs Benedict) making it super soggy, salmon roe was left off of the Norwegian plate, side of home fries consisted of only THREE tiny pieces of potato. Coffee tasted burned. Overall a horrible food experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. It is uniquely pretty and comfortable. The food was excellent, though we did not feel that the lentil soup was up to the restaurant's high standards.

I had the salmon as my main course which was served medium rare. It was very mild in flavor, and was served over bland mashed potatoes. It had string beans placed about the plate along with some unique food accompaniments.

The Dee Jay was too loud. The food was good, but the portions uneven. The Filet mignon was an appetizer, but should have been a main course. The Octopus was miniscule

My friends and I went to dinner here and the whole experience felt a bit awkward and cold. Every interaction felt unwanted, like as if we were being annoying by asking for anything. A bit pricey for what the plate size and food quality was too. A bummer, but we’re not coming back and I’m upset I’d suggested it for a friend’s birthday dinner.

This place is the quintessential Mediterranean restaurant. The food is fresh, light and delicious. Just went from brunch and they had live music, and the service was excellent as well. The wait staff is very professional and attentive. Do yourself a favor and order the The Turkish Breakfast plate to get a great taste of the region. Definitely coming back!

It was an excellent dining experience. We ordered a bunch of apps and they were delicious. The muhammara was a great starter paired with the pita bread. The octopus was outstanding and the calamari was great. The scallops were good but needed a better sear on them. The spicy margarita is very yummy as well.

Cute little spot for a date night. Ambience was very pleasant and the waiter very polite. However the food took forever to come and it was mediocre at best.(Except for the scallops which were outstanding). My wife ordered a glass of moscato wine and they brought her something different hoping she wouldn’t notice. She gave it back and asked for moscato again. It came 15 minutes later with ice in it and the excuse that they had to open a new bottle. Not very professional.
