We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened this year in January, Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood brings you a second location location in South metro Denver. Our approach is still the same: to create honest food and drinks, served in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

Lobster Mania & Happy Hour is a good deal…otherwise they’re a tittle expensive for the quantity & the limited offerings. I happen to have a receipt from a year ago & surprisingly found in some offerings almost an 50% increase in the side offerings I had back then. Seriously that’s a bit much along with the 3.5 % surcharge on the order.

Blue Island is always reliable for seafood! We had oysters raw and roasted, clams, lobster rolls, lobster salad, french fries, and olive oil orange cake!! What's not to love?!? And they bend over backwards to be accommodating!!

Went there for Happy Hour. There was a good variety of drinks and food available during that time. Tried several items including chilled oysters, deviled eggs, mussels, chowder and tacos. All were delicious. Still a bit on the pricey side for Happy Hour but less than normal prices. Would definitely go back.

Excellent seafood menu with plenty of options! Felt like were on the East Coast eating lobster rolls by the water. :) Service was great. Was super busy for a Wednesday and was definitely loud, I would not recommend for a quiet date night.

The clam chowder and lobster rolls were delicious. We had a delightful lunch on the patio. The service was very good, except there were problems with the bill that took a long time to resolve.

Our server, Laura, was great! She was friendly, helpful and attentive. Our food was very good. I had the miso sea bass and my husband had one of the specials, which was a striped bass. Both were excellent.

Good place to eat, the menu is decent, but the execution could be better. There was a lot to choose from, 4 different menus when we went during happy hour, so that was quite a bit to navigate! Good happy hour spot overall, they aren't fine dining, but are maybe trying to be? Couldn't quite figure it out. Amazing staff, 5 stars for service for sure.
