We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened this year in January, Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood brings you a second location location in South metro Denver. Our approach is still the same: to create honest food and drinks, served in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

Good place to eat, the menu is decent, but the execution could be better. There was a lot to choose from, 4 different menus when we went during happy hour, so that was quite a bit to navigate! Good happy hour spot overall, they aren't fine dining, but are maybe trying to be? Couldn't quite figure it out. Amazing staff, 5 stars for service for sure.

Our go to place for excellent seafood. This time was special because we brought friends and took advantage of lobster rolls on sale. Loaded with lobster. Delicious. Also took advantage of happy Hour for great drinks. Love the Blood Orange Margs. Always love the Poke Martini

Food was good except calamari...First it came out cold, then sent it back and it came out like crumbs instead of pieces of calamari. Disappointing, wont order that again.

Service was a little slow but they may have been short staffed for the weekend. But, weather was beautiful on the patio, Blake, our server, was there when we needed him. Food was incredible. Oysters are a given. On a scale of 1-5, the Entree lobster salad and ahi tuna salad scored 12 stars. Yes. It was that good!

Our server, Jacob, did a great job explaining the specials. He recommended oysters that were fantastic. The Blue Island divers platter was a hit among our table. Highly recommend this place!

My go to for oysters and seafood. Beats any of the “chains” and the higher end seafood places in downtown Denver. The only place I know of that you can get a fried clam roll.
