Au Blue Island Oyster Bar, notre menu, notre décor, notre culture et surtout notre expérience sont inspirés de souvenirs d'enfance, comme grandir dans une petite ville côtière, un endroit dans le temps où les choses semblaient être plus simples, plus amusantes et presque surréaliste. Nous avons ensuite combiné tout ceci avec une hospitalité inégalée, des libations créatives et une passion pour les fruits de mer très frais. Afin de nous assurer que cet engagement soit respecté, nous avons créé un partenariat avec les fermes de fruits de mer de Blue Island afin de vous faire savourer les meilleurs huîtres et fruits de mer : palourdes et moules cuites à la vapeur, rouleaux de homard, potage de palourdes, gâteaux de crabe ainsi que du poisson frais, entre autres. Bien sûr, n'importe quel restaurant serait incomplet s'il ne disposait pas d'une grande carte de boissons au bar, s'associant parfaitement avec le menu du chef DJ Nagle. C'est pourquoi nous avons employé les barmans les plus doués pour vous préparer des cocktails, et vous aider à étancher votre soif, que vous soyez amateur de bière, de vin, de champagne ou de cocktails classiques. Notre approche est simple : nous souhaitons créer une cuisine et des boissons respectables, pour les servir dans un cadre détendu.

Happy Hour is our favorite. Food is really good with a good selection, including 30% off wine by the glass. Service was not quick. Solidly there for 15 minutes before someone came to the table, but super nice. One of our items never came out, and after asking they brought out a token order but didn’t charge us. Not perfect, but we will definitely return.

We came for the Wednesday special on lobster rolls, and they were delicious. I just wish you could do something about the sound in the restaurant because it was too loud to easily carry on a conversation.

We were celebrating Mother's Day! This was a crazy experience. It was our waitress's second week on the job, & the restaurant was very busy, due to being Mother's Day. With that said, it took almost 50 minutes to get our order taken, even for lemons for our water! the wrong main course was brought out before our appetizers. It was a total mess! Both the manager, along with the general manager, approached our table to apologize. Finally, our meals arrived, as ordered. The general manager did the right thing, & compt our entire bill. Because the manager did the right thing, we will be back! After all, the food is really good!

We thoroughly enjoyed. another fantastic meal at Blue Island! As much as the 3 of us would have liked to have had one of each, we settled on the lobster roll, fish and chips and the shrimp and scallop dish. All were delicious!

Blue Island Oyster Bar was a delightful treat for Mother's Day Brunch! They have an excellent menu for seafood lovers and not! Amazing kids menu, the drink list is large and the food is top notch! Service was friendly and amazing - not intimidating to novice seafood eaters and well versed in what it is they provide. 5 stars!

They did not have anything we tried to order. Out of the wine, out of oysters, out of soft shell crab. Our table was not bused and waters not refilled. Not a good experience.

The Whole Branzino was amazing, lobster roll delicious, fish & chips were light & crispy and lobster salad was very fresh & tasty! Monday night $1.25 Oyster special is a favorite night for us at #BlueIslandOysterBar!-they are always delicious! It is rather loud in the restaurant so don’t go there for an intimate dining experience…it’s more of an upbeat, loud atmosphere!🤩

Our waitress was not as attentive as she could have been. My husband ordered the claim chowder and we had to keep reminding our waitress that he was waiting on his soup, which did not arrive until after his entree was completely eaten.🙁

Our server, Jasmine, was engaging, professional, and thorough. Our food was superb. We started with the spanish Octopus, a new prepreation, and it was better than either of the last ones. We shared the Diver's Platter and each seafood was perfectly cooked. We asked if it were possible to get the Cod grilled versus deep fired and were told "yes". a w onderful spot. Get the oysters, especially on Monday's.

The miso cod and the Oscar salmon were delicious but the octopus was a bit overcooked and had a slimy feeling on the outside that was off putting. The dish was still delicious in flavor though. We had Brian as our server and he was amazing!

Another fantastic happy hour at Blue Island Oyster Bar! I was so pleased to see that happy hour starts at 2:00! This time we shared a burger and fries (but also got some peel and eat shrimp) and it was fantastic!

I was disappointed that they didn’t have their normal Sunday menu, I even double checked the website. But I really appreciate the management for responding and saying they would have been happy to make something off the menu for us. Their food is great!!!

Server didn’t know what medium plus was and kept saying oh you mean medium well? I said no, medium plus, oh you mean medium rare? No medium plus, oh you mean medium? No. Finally caved and ordered both steaks medium well. One came out well done and the other medium rare. I guess that’s what I get for ordering my kids steaks at a seafood restaurant. Also tried to walk in the night before and was told they were fully committed. Went next door to cherry cricket and looked on open table to see they had reservations available in an hour.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration for a friend last night, our server was simply excellent, bravo!

Our server and the manager were very attentive. Food was great. My special drink was not a happy hour special, which was just fine. But our wines were not discounted to 30% off as happy hour stated if ordered before 6. We were there at 5. We didn’t catch it when paying. Disappointed they did not.
