Le Blue Fin est un restaurant de fruits de mer moderne situé sur Times Square à New York, qui a rouvert suite à une refonte totale effectuée par Robert McKinley. We had before dinner bar menu. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Note to self, return when we're in town next year for sure.

The food, service, and ambience were all lovely. The only hiccup was that although we ordered two side dishes as appetizers, they arrived with our entrees. Kind of defeated the purpose. Our server acknowledged it as kitchen error but didn't offer any accommodation such as treating us to a dessert. Missed opportunity for sure.

The food did not taste well. Salmon was overcooked and the scallops didn’t have the nice caramelized texture I expected

It used to be a great spot for pre/post theatre dinner. I don’t what happened… but it’s very tired. Food is less than mediocre. Drinks are even worse. It saddens me to write this review as I used to love this restaurant a lot. Service is fine. They are all very nice and attentive but quality of product is very low. Sorry

We were a little uncertain after seeing mixed reviews and knowing this was a Landry’s chain AND on Times Square. Fortunately we were pleasantly surprised. Ambiance, service, food and drinks were all excellent. We had cocktails and shared sake nigiri, yum yum babe (substituted fresh salmon over spicy salmon) and Godzilla rolls and asked to go easy on sauces. Fish was fresh, rolls delicious. Highly recommend.

The food here is consistently good and I found it particularly tasty last night. And....it is very rare that you can actually hear your dinner partner speak with all the bad acoustics and the music blasting in restaurants these days, especially in the theatre district, This was a very pleasant surprise. It was quiet.

Tried it again as stayed at hotel and enjoyed a meal a couple days prior there. Server was the only change and the server this time forgot some of our order, was not attentive, and did not clear our plates timely so they piled up. Food is good and prepared nicely, but sushi just average. Ambience is quiet.

They knew we were trying to make it to a show as what are most people in the restaurant, yet it took extraordinary and repeat interventions from us to get them to serve the food in time -- barely -- to get to the show. They need a bigger kitchen or more employees or fewer tables.

The restaurant was nice however, my chicken was not done. The food came out late. They left some items off and had to go back to see about the order. In addition the person a guy came out to deliver the food when we saw an item was missing he said do you still want it because it’s going to take about 10 minutes I would not have ordered it if I didn’t want it overall it was OK. We’ve been here before, but the overall service was much better.

While we were somewhat disappointed in the variety of choices -- limited to four fish, with a variety of sweet or strange sauces, plus blackened or grilled -- the quality of the food was exceptional. I had one of the simply prepared choices (grilled sea bass), which, while simple, was fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband tried one of the composed dishes, and was equally pleased. The desserts were not exciting, but they had a good range of sorbets and ice cream.

We had a very good dinner. My friend and I shared a dozen oysters for a first course. I had a very good tuna main course and my friend had two rolls of sushi. We both enjoyed the food very much.

My husband, son, and I loved our dining experience! Don’t let the Times Square location dissuade you from trying this gem. The food was excellent (king crab fried rice, tuna poke tacos, and miso tenderloin on hot rock were particular standouts). Service was great & decor was lovely. We also thought the pricing was very reasonable especially for a primarily seafood spot. Will be back next NY trip. ⭐️

We haven been back since covid. So happy that everything was great and even better then i remembered. The sushi and fish entrees were delicious. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

Blue Fin is now on our list of favorite dining places. All the Blue Fin people were exceptionally gracious and helpful. We loved the oysters rockefeller. The salad with broccoli and kale was amazing. We ate light ,and there was no pressure to order more. The ambiance was delightful. Even the customers looked exta happy. Thank you so much! We will come back again, many times.

Wonderful place for date night and pre-show dining. Food was excellent and ambience was wonderful. Lots of seating so not cramped. Many places in Times Square don’t worry too much about quality because of their location but Blue Fin goes the extra mile and delivers a fantastic dining experience.

The restaurant is sooo perfectly located if you are going to a show and they offer quality food , prepared and plated very well. Service staff is friendly but not intrusive .
