Blue Denim celebrates the food ways of the Global South. Our menu specializes in Cajun-Creole-Southern cuisine. Our restaurant is perfect for an intimate and cozy dining experience. We are committed to providing excellent service and best in class cuisine for our guest. Chef and owner, Jody Morphis along with his wife/partner Anne Marsh and their staff, have created an atmosphere that effortlessly combines great food with a memorable experience for all that visit Blue Denim.     Very limited menu. The Shrimp appetizer was excellent. The salads very small; limited dressing not very good. We were dieting and did not order entrees. the bill was still high for two salads, one appetizer and no drinks.

    I ordered a medium rare steak and it was over cooked and served on top of fries, making them soggy. They did make it to order though! My wife grew up in New Orleans and was disappointed that it was not authentic. We probably will not return.

    The dessert was excellent. The shrimp was a little tough. Coffee pot was broken and apparently had been for some time. Took some time to get the check. Seemed a little short-staffed.

    Initially, the restaurant was a bit too cold for me. It warmed up after some guests arrived. The duck nachos were light and delicious. Also, my son and I both enjoyed our entrées. We were too full for dessert but they sounded tempting. The cocktail list is interesting as well.

    The food is solid New Orleans style, never disappointing. Also sazerac on the menu, which is clutch. and Abita in a can, nice! It was too hot to sit outside so we were inside which is acoustically an echo chamber but nice decor. Service was very friendly, slow to greet, slow to get drink orders. The second round order was put in when ordering entrees, we were mostly done when they arrived so late.

    We had a wonderful dinner!! One of our group said it was the best meal he’d ever had!!!

    The restaurant atmosphere was great. Each team member working Friday were very professional and had great energy. If you are a fan of Cajun cuisine, this is the place to be. The food was great!

    One of the best resturants in town. Be sure to book a reservation as it can be challenge to get a table without one.
