Blue Bear is a locally owned farm to table restaurant. Our entire menu is made from scratch including all sauces, dressings, soups, bakery, etc. We use whole farm fresh meats with no hormones, antibiotics, additives or preservatives. We use free range chicken and farm fresh eggs. We roast all of our meats in house. We use locally grown and organic produce when in season and available. We offer many gluten-free, vegan & keto friendly options. We use plant based, compostable carry out containers. We cook with 100% real clarified butter. Blue Bear is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a fantastic Saturday & Sunday Brunch!

    Wasted almost three hours with a reservation to get cold food. Mother’s Day is supposed to be enjoyable and this was nothing of the sort. The hostess/owner’s daughter was rude to many people because they overbooked their restaurant. She could not seat people on time, and food took two hours to get from kitchen to the table. Their food is typically great, but all the food came out cold as it had probably been waiting to come out for some time. Lack of staffing, space and a large enough kitchen is part to blame but this is not a new restaurant. They chose to overbook because they wanted $$$. Very disappointing and this is the second time we have had rude service from the daughter/manager. As an owner, you must be able to take constructive criticism and she cannot. It was very uncomfortable watching her (we were by the check in) be rude to all those checking in who were concerned with timing because they were so behind. Take the hint, change your ways.

    We had reservations and we were sat late. Also sat at the bar that I didn’t really want to sit at but we did anyway. My mom and I ordered the avocado toast which took an hour and 15 mins to get out to us. My mom’s meal was cold . The bartender was friendly and likable. But it was complete chaos and the staff seemed flustered with each other. Just kind of a crazy situation.

    The food was amazing, once it arrived. I would love to visit on a day that isn't mother's day. The kitchen seems to be very overwhelmed. We had to ask 3 times for our final item to arrive. I know mother's day is a rough but my nephew shouldn't have to wait an hour and a half for a plate of pancakes.

    We had a reservation for Mother's Day and granted we expected it to be busy BUT the staff was so unprepared for the amount of people that were there, and on top of that were unprofessional to both guests and fellow staff. One of the staff members snapped at me for simply asking to check-in for my reservation saying everyone had reservations and they were behind. Then we got seated & since we had to wait for our reservation we all knew what we wanted, ordered drinks and food right away & then proceeded to wait about 15 mins for drinks and then our food was delivered a total of an hour and 15 mins later. We had to ask the waiter at one point what was going on because he barely checked on us. We are not needy by any means! Only 1 out of 5 of us actually enjoyed the food we ordered but we were so hungry at that point we weren't going to send it back. Left hungry & disappointed.

    Taken to our seat, which on one chair had a piece of wet pasta. Under the table was silverware. The floor by our table was filthy. We were NEVER asked once about whether or not we needed additional drinks. We were NEVER asked once how our meal was. We were NEVER asked if we wanted anything else. Food for 2 of us was luke warm and one receive cold pancakes. Clearly the food sat out and no one was taking care of us. Had to ask three different people for our check. Hot food and a little service attention would’ve made the difference.

    We visited Blue Bear on Mother's Day. Very busy day. We were seated close to our reservation time. We did wait a considerable amount of time to be greeted by our server. Our food orders did take an exceptionally long time as well. The food when it did arrive was good. The traditional hash browns were less lackluster. The biscuits on the Biscuits and Gravy we very dense and not very edible. I would try them again during a less busy time.

    Lots of vegan options and the staff is friendly. We will definitely go there again!

    I liked the privacy of the outside cabana. It was nice to be outside but not in the elements.

    Took Mom for Mother's Day Brunch and she loved it. Food was great and unique. Cute little place, would come back.

    New menu since our last visit. There were so many choices. Food was well prepared and seasoned. Serving size was generous. Excellent coffee. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive and gave refills of water and coffee without having to make a request. Would have liked to sit outside but it was raining. Will return again.
