    I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner because the online menu looked fantastic. Our reservation was for 7 pm and we arrived at 6:30 so we sat at the bar and had a cocktail. At 2 minutes til 7, we went to the hostess desk and waited several minutes to be acknowledged. Another customer had to point out that we were waiting to be seated. While reviewing the menu, I noticed there was no filet option, although someone at the bar just ordered a filet to go along with a buger and fries. When I asked the waitress, she said there was no filet or burger on the menu. So I asked about the scallops, and she said there was a change, and now it came with a citrus sauce on them. I asked if I could get it without the citrus sauce as it was on the menu, and she said no. At this point, I was frustrated and wanted to leave, but we stayed. My husband ordered the wagyu and I the scallops. We waited 1 hour for our entrees, and the waitress never updated us on the progress, and someone else refilled our drinks. The food was good, although I would have preferred no additional sauce to be added to the scallops. The service was terrible, especially considering only 25 percent of the tables were full. I also saw several burgers being sat on the kitchen window. Apparently, there is a secret menu that not everyone can see. I should have inquired about the progress of our food but didn't. If you inform customers as to the progress of their food, they are more understanding of delays. No communication is sad and decreases the likelihood of having repeat business.

    I usually love Blue Aster. That is why I did a reservation yesterday for my 45th birthday. Our experience this time was awful due to the incompetence of our server and the poor management of that server. First of all, it took for ever to get our first drink. At the point that the manager asked us if we did order yet. I told Jim that we did ordered drinks a while ago...Then, I ordered the seafood platter...the server told us that he did not know if they had enough to do it and asked for an alternative...and never told us what we will get until the platter arrived to our table. In the meantime, we were out of drinks and water...we had to get the server attention while he was ignoring us and avoiding eye contact to get an other drink and water. But those came after we were done with the platter...that we ate without a drink. It was delicious. Than, we oder the Ceasars salad. Finally got our second drink with the salad. Despite running all around empty hands, our server never cleared our table from empty glass and empty seafood platter. I had to asked tha manager to do it when he bring us the salad. The, we ordered a refill of our drinks. The server tried to fill up my glass of champagne that was not even empty yet while charging me a full glass...I ordered the lobster cavatalli since they ate usually fantastic. After 3 bites, I realized that I had no lobster in my pasta but mussel...try to get the server attention twice but was completely ignored. I had to ask the nice hostess to send him to our table...when I asked about the mussels in the pasta instead of the lobster, he just told us that the chef was changing the menus...its a good thing that I just hate mussels deeply and that I not allergic to it...He did offer to attempt to make something without the mussels but at this point, I was done. We realized at the end that they charged my husband for 2 double mule while he never asked for double...28$ each cocktail...Worst birthday ever...

    Tea itself was delightful but service was very slow which detracted from the experience. The whole hotel has a very strong perfume smell which was quite overpowering and also detracted. Also I didnt realize until afterwards that we were charged $111 per person after $18 tax and some kind of 20% "Service Fee" which was unclear whether or not it was a prepaid tip?!

    We reserved slot for Breakfast at Tiffany’s afternoon tea, was very disappointed Food was bland Tea was nothing special, it tasted like from Starbucks, but I’m not sure We sat at sofa type of table, very uncomfortable to eat They put up few Tiffany boxes, books and few balloons and they called it Breakfast at Tiffany’s Not worth the price or experience China was very beautiful

    Good food overall. Waiter could have been a little faster and more attentive as it wasn’t very busy. Very nice vibes and great jazz ensemble playing to create relaxing ambiance.

    Cute spot but the vibe was little low as the dining room was pretty empty. The food (hamburger) was just ok. The fries were hot and crispy! The bacon was cooked perfectly! The drinks were cute and refreshing. I was disappointed in the cinnamon roll as it was hard like it sat over night as opposed to soft and moist.

    We celebrated a birthday and they made the luncheon quite special with a card from the staff and champagne. William our server was never without a smile and genuinely made the time great. So happy we choose Blue Aster.

    Quite disappointed with the experience. Great appetizers. Delicious lobster roll, but the eggs benedict were heavy. Our waitress disappeared after taking our order and my husband was left with no knife to cut his eggs Benedict. We also wanted another Mimosa. It took her forever to show up. We also noticed all other tables had croissants and muffins, which we never had on our table so we had to ask if it was an addition to the menu. She finally brought some to our table at the very end of our brunch. Would have enjoyed that so much more beforehand. I ended up not ordering another cappuccino because we were almost done with the entree when we finally saw her again. I am assuming she had totally forgotten about us but never apologized for it. For a total of $410 for a party of 3, we were expecting the service to be more attentive.

    The menu is a little limited, and for the price, there is honestly a lot of other options in Nashville. The place is super clean and the service was great, but between the menu and portion sizes (small), I don’t think we’ll be back.

    Excellent service was given throughout the dining experience. Food was prepared perfectly and was delicious. Drinks we had were NA and they were crafted to perfection. Beautiful atmosphere and ambience highly recommend!

    When I first walked in, I thought this was going to be a great experience. The restaurant itself is quite nice, sophisticated and considerate service. However, the food was very disappointing. The Scallops with Risotto tasted like a box of salt spilled into it. The Ribeye for two was tasty, however, it was cold and enormous amount of fat on the meat. Very limited with its sides, and they were not impressive in execution. There is potential however, it’s not there yet.

    We had tea at the Blue Aster. The food overall, was great! However, the blue macaroons caused one of the guest's teeth and mouth to turn blue due to the dye used. Minus the blue macaroon, overall, the food was excellent and we enjoyed having tea there.

    Such an elegant atmosphere and a menu, albeit a limited one, with something for everyone. Snapper was fresh and very light. Scallops with risotto was perfectly prepared. Caesar salad was large and very fresh. Chowder was silky and very flavorful. We split a Black Forest cake for dessert, which was a great ending. Service was attentive and professional. Terrific wine selection that was IMO overpriced. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

    Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Service was spectacular! Steak was cooked just right. Nice ambiance, there was a three piece band playing in the hotel lobby that you could hear in the restaurant. Will definitely be back next time we're in Nashville.

    All the food was delicious! Every single pastry was perfect. The biscuits and potatoes were heavenly. Amongst our table we had the standard breakfast and the omelet and they were all delightful!

    I made a reservation for Afternoon Tea to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I mentioned it upon arrival since it wouldn’t allow me to update my reservation and NO acknowledgment whatsoever throughout the visit. We were seated for our reservation and it was over 40 minutes before we were served any food or asked which tea we wanted which is absolutely wild since they told me that no substitutions would be allowed since everything was pre-made. Was the experience worth $200+ for two people- no. The mean girls theme is cute and kitchy but for the price point, food and service game need to be better.

    Overall, a good dining experience. I believe the menu would benefit from being organized differently. Wish they had a few more classic brunch options on the brunch menu. Would love to go back at dinner time or for tea.

    Nice place to enjoy a meal. Loved it was in the hotel, so no travel time. Waitress was great, and made very nice recommendation. Loved the grilled filet, and scallop risotto, will differently be back.

    We splurged for the Mean Girls tea and it was awful. The service was non-existent - we cleared our own plates from the table. It’s a great idea but the staff needs training and the food needs improving before it’s worth anywhere close to what they’re charging. Do high tea at the Hermitage instead.

    As locals, this is one of our favorite little secrets. One of the top restaurants in Nashville, easy valet parking, amazing ambiance, breakfast and dinner are both AMAZING (never tried lunch), plus you may see someone famous staying at the Conrad Hotel ;)
