Afternoon Tea was a delight...And the Bridgerton experience made it that much more memorable. The sweet and savory bites were delicious and definitely on theme. The lounge area was very pretty and afforded privacy for each party. And the staff were supremely friendly - from the doorman, the valet, Ray, and our most excellent server, Nick - who gave great recs and was so very attentive! It was the most awesome experience...we will definitely be back - Thank you!

This is a lovely place to have a quiet and tasty lunch. Great wine recommendation from to staff, a Sancerre, that went well with our Eggs Benny and Grain bowl.

Nice place with attentive service. Well prepared food and nice wine selection. Not crowded or loud. Nice reprieve from the hectic crowd on Broadway!!! We had a splendid evening.

When we arrived the hostess greeted us & wished us a Happy Anniversary, there was a card at our table signed by staff, and our server Sylvia acknowledged our anniversary as well ~ which was incredibly sweet. We were seated at a very cozy booth with pillows. We had oysters & croquette appetizers & both were delicious. Hubby said his Negroni was excellent, as was my Sancerre. The Ora King salmon dish was incredibly delicious & the Beet & goat cheese Agnolotti was also quite good. We were presented with a beautifully decorated slice of flourless chocolate cake with cherries & a glass of Prosecco on the house. What an incredible evening; sincere thanks to Sylvia & the entire staff at Blue Aster for making our evening so special.

My family enjoyed a wonderful evening at Blue Aster to celebrate Mother's Day. From bread to dessert, everything was delicious! Also, Sylvia providing excellent service throughout the night, including helpful descriptions and recommendations of specific food choices. We look forward to our next visit to Blue Aster.

without ANY promotion and/or mention (on their website) of a Mother's Day special brunch or menu, I went ahead and booked my entire family of 6 adults and 3 children(toddlers) for brunch on Mother's Day. Was not seated at reserved time(told they "were trying to find enough chairs"). Menu was spectacular for adults. NO prices printed and/or shown ANYWHERE(on menu or website). Quality of food=FANTASTIC. Service=average. No extras ordered for anyone. Adults $85 each plus soft drinks. Toddlers $45 each!! Auto gratuity of $133! came prepared to pay cash until I received the bill of $866! I've had brunch @ Brennen's in New Orleans, brunch at 4 different Ritz Carltons, etc. etc. Never again will I pay $866 for my families brunch even if it's at Mr. Aster's home!

The service was pretty good, but the food was not great. The positive: We were a party of 3 (2 adults & child) for Afternoon Tea. The table was set nicely, and we were waited upon quickly... there were only 3 other groups taking tea. We loved the blue glitter champagne and the favors (gloves and mini wreath headbands). The menu was beautiful, and we loved being served our tea tier by someone dressed like a character from Bridgerton. The staff was very nice. The scones were typical, but the lemon curd, cream and chocolate/coffee sauces were yummy. The not so positive: We were not offered a warm up on our tea (half of teatime we had to drink cool/cold tea) and we were given small teapots. The savory tea sandwiches were just ok, the main issue was some of the bread being hard... like it was left out awhile. The egg salad was almost all hard bread. The sweets were good, but nothing really stood out. I am a regular Afternoon Tea taker, and I felt the food was very overpriced for what we received. After gratuity I spent $300. I need to mention I ordered three small waters @ $18 which is included in that price. I don't mind spending that amount of money if the food and service was good, but unfortunately it was not.
