Featuring plant based ingredients, elevated cooking techniques, a creative beverage list and a colorful ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. Blossom & Root is the Tri-Valley dining destination for anyone curious about - or naturally inclined towards contemporary vegan fare with an "Eat Local" emphasis. Private dining is available. The pretty space is full of blue patterns and hues, with lots of plants (decorative and possibly edible). Featuring just as creative of a bar program as menu. Joe Steiner has elevated the bar program to match our eclectic menu by Chef Chris Johnson. Together the team puts out beautiful food and beverages not to be missed.

Welcoming staff, great service. Loved all the dishes. Cocktails were great (hibiscus margarita was a hit!). Food was presented beautifully. Enjoyed all the dishes. Desserts were good too.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here. Everything was flavorful and presented beautifully. We all really enjoyed the "crabcakes" and the curry. For dessert the smore chocolate mousse was very creamy and delicious. We were there for a birthday celebration and they were sure to honor it at dessert. I also started with a very tasty and refreshing cocktail. We all agreed it was a restaurant that we would return to!

We came on the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. Everything we had was well prepared and tasty. We shared the "crab" cakes and had the vegetable curry and the smash burger for entrees. Both were delicious. We finished with the s'mores chocolate mousse - yum!

Amazing French cuisine offered in a vegan and GF version that is simply exquisite. My all time fav is that mushroom chowder and the house burger. Insane!!

Delicious and we'll be back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars to food is my mushroom soup was way too salty. I swelled up as a result. I don't eat salt. I prefer the taste of food. I always expect some eating out but this was overwhelming. The menu didn't mention the heat level of the sandwich I ordered either. I don't tolerate spicy. I was able to scrape off the sauce but not before my mouth burned.

2nd visit. Amazing place for vegans. Food is top notch and service is friendly without being cloying. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, a bit on the expensive side but ok with us. Great service and very friendly staff. Restaurant is loud and noisy, we couldn’t hear each other conversation on the same table without yelling. I am gonna hold off making any cozy dinner rsvp with fiends until this get fixed. Looking forward to it. Really love the food.

Went to Blossom & Root for the first time and was thrilled with the experience. Our server Hanna was knowledgeable, friendly, and didn’t rush us to order or leave. The food was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Everything was generous in serving size and thoughtfully prepared. I’ll definitely go back for another fabulous meal.

Great food great service great atmosphere. Noise level is high. Would be nice if the tables could be more spaced out. The mushroom soup was our highlight followed by the chocolate mousse dessert. A bit pricey but I will still go back.

Blossom and Root is wonderful! I took a vegan friend there for lunch not knowing what to expect since I am not vegan. The citrus and beet salad was one of the best salads I have ever tasted. I will be back. This restaurant is not just for vegans!

We were a larger party and got sat in the small dining room. The host was very good about finding a spot for my daughter who just had surgery and is in a brace. The grapefruit soda is my favorite drink right now although my son stuck to his blueberry basil refresher! There was a secret soup special: a chilled pea soup that was fantastic. And so green. Happy eyes and belly. The staff were amazing.

A diner would never guess they were at a vegetarian restaurant when they dine at this fantastic location. Our four courses were perfection and everyone around us agreed the food is delicious. Share, share, share so you can try several items on the menu. We are not vegetarians, but I can't wait to return.

Blossom and Root is the best restaurant by far in the Danville, CA area!! The food is exquisitely crafted and the menu is wonderfully planned. The Blossom and Root kitchen has also gone to great lengths to source every ingredient from the finest growers in the world. Go try it! You and your tastebuds (and your health) will be happy you did!

We loved our plant based, gluten free dinner! It was a great place to celebrate some good news we received yesterday! The food was delicious, ambiance great & the servers were spectacular. (Sierra) We will be back. We especially liked the fritters & "crab cakes"! YUMMMM.

This is one of the best vegan restaurants east Bay. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. I recommend reservations because it's quite popular.

Great as always. Love the curry with added grilled tofu and the smash burger. We ordered the apple bread pudding dessert. Tasty but could have done with more apples for added tartness to balance the sweet breading. The shrub is always fun!

Really tasty. Go for the fritters, stay for the burger! Nice, manageable wine list as well. A winter storm knocked out power to the neighborhood during our dinner, so the ambiance was extra romantic!

I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I really enjoyed most of the dishes! My favorites were the crab cakes and the beet salad. I didn’t have a main meal, but the apple dessert was also good. I hope they expand their drink menu soon as there weren’t a lot of cocktail options. Definitely will go back to try some of the other items.

I ordered the Indian style vegetables with rice. It was quite tasty, but the rice was lukewarm. If it had been hot, it would have deserved 5 stars.

The food was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend the Fritters… OMG!!! The Fritters are Heavenly!!! The service was impeccable and the wait staff pleasant, informative and professional. This establishment deserves a “10” All around Great Service. And last be definitely not least Kudos to the chef. I am always cautious when I go to a Vegan restaurant because of my tree nut allergy. The chef made sure that I didn’t get anything with tree nuts in my meal AND the wait staff informed me that there were no tree nuts in any of my family’s food so I was able to sample food that my Husband ordered. What a delightful time!! Without doubt we will be making the trip from Rio Vista to Danville again in the very near future to dine at Blossom and Root!!
